On September 25, 2023, Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, officially inaugrated the two-day "Bharat Drone Shakti-2023" event at the Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

India's largest drone demonstration event was managed and carried out by Wide Range Group. Over 75 drone start-ups and businesses took part actively in the event, and there were over 50 live aerial demonstrations.
