Webinar on Education during COVID: Way forward
More than a year has gone by and we are back asking the same question about lockdowns, COVID surges, and board exams. Most people became easy about living virtually and therefore the shift to online platforms in education saw a massive uptick in the use of online resources and virtual learning. In this session a set of experts from India and Slovenia will discuss the way forward in the education sector as education via a digital medium is here to stay.
Discussion points:
- What major reforms do you see in the global education system after COVID?
- Is complete digitalization of the classroom possible?
- We all have seen, in Covid time, 100% digital classrooms, lectures, practical, hands-on lessons, across the world. What are your comments about the success ( or limitations) which the education sector faced this period?
-In the policy-making or governance domain, "Education (especially Elementary education level) " is a very local and contextual subject and at the same time has a global impact. Do you think, Digital mode has brought any change?
- SDG- 4 of the United Nations emphasis on "Quality Education for all". How many levels have we achieved so far and what's more to do?
- During pandemic Health, Education and Economics were the main debated points. What do you have to say?
- What Slovenia and India can learn from each other in Education, Policy reforms, etc.
Format: It would be approximately 60 minutes duration in 3 main parts. It will be live on Facebook and will be attended by students, audiences mainly from India and other parts of the world.
