Dear all,
As my tenure as the President of the Students’ Council, Kamala Nehru College, comes to an end, I’m filled with emotions that words can barely capture. It truly feels like the close of a beautiful chapter — one that has given me memories, lessons, and friendships I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Serving as your President has been one of the greatest honors of my college journey. Together, we’ve shared laughter, challenges, achievements, and moments that will forever stay close to my heart.

What touches me most is the love, respect, and faith you’ve shown me. I genuinely believe no President could have received the warmth and affection I was blessed with — every smile, message, and gesture of support meant the world to me.

As I sign off as the President I do so with immense pride in what we achieved together and deep gratitude for the trust you placed in me. Though my term has ended, my bond with you all remains unchanged — unbreakable and full of love.

I’m still around in college, and my doors are always open — whether you need guidance, help, or just someone to talk to. I’ll always be there, not as your President, but as your didi, your friend, and someone who truly cares. Thank you for making this journey unforgettable.

I still remember the day I won the elections with the highest number of votes.
They were not just votes — they were your hope, your love, and your faith in me.

Signing Off

As I wrap up my tenure as First Year Proctor, I’m hit with a flood of memories, and I’m like, Wow, was it really just a year? From nervously figuring out what being a Proctor even meant to finding my footing in the role, it’s been a journey of growth. The Students’ Union was a space where I could learn, experiment, and grow alongside everyone. I’ve had the opportunity to work with an amazing team, organize events, make mistakes, learn from them, and repeat the cycle, it’s been a blast!

I want to thank each one of you for being my constants, for questioning us, for pushing us to be better, and for being part of this journey. This experience has left an indelible mark on my time here, and I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me. Moreover, the first day, first year Anshika kind of feels better for the last year’s 1st year Proctor, at least you tried.

Signing Off

With a heart full of gratitude, it is time to bid farewell. Serving in this role has been an immense honor, one that has not only given me the chance to contribute to our community but has also shaped me in ways I could not have imagined. The lessons learned in leadership, integrity and collaboration will stay with me for years to come.
To my fellow council members, advisors, professors, and, most importantly to every student I had the privilege to serve: thank you for your trust and support.

Let us all remember that leadership is less about the titles we hold and more about the positive impact we leave behind. I wish the incoming team wisdom, strength and joy in your service.

Ullas’25 — not just an event, but a piece of our hearts.
What began with endless meetings, messy chart papers, overflowing excels, and sleepless nights turned into two days of pure magic.

Under the theme Lok Leher, every colour, every rhythm, every folk came alive. From the soulful performance of the Molagu Mahila Tanda folk dance group and the electrifying energy of Mizaz Band on Day 1,to the unforgettable melodies of Vivek Santani and Amit Mishra on Day 2 — the campus danced, laughed, and lived every moment.

Behind every light, every poster, every smile — there was a story of teamwork, chaos, and love.
Ullas’25 was more than a fest; it was the heartbeat of our council,
a celebration of culture, connection, and the countless memories we built together.

Behind every smooth experience at Ullas was a team that worked relentlessly, often unseen but always unstoppable.

Our Logistics Team - the ones who had sleepless nights, full days, and countless calls with vendors. From managing stalls to making endless excels, you worked every single day with unmatched dedication. You barely sat in the council room, because you were always out there making sure Ullas came together, piece by piece.

Our Sponsorship Team — the hustlers who made *so many* calls, handled sponsors, edited and re-edited MOUs, and faced rejection after rejection, yet never gave up. You carried the spirit of perseverance and turned challenges into opportunities, ensuring Ullas had the backing it needed to shine.
