দুর্গাপুর থেকে চিত্তরঞ্জন, কিংবা আসানসোলের এই জ্যামের ভিড়ে ব্যস্ততার মদ্দিখানে আমাদের এই গপ্পো। গল্পটা আমাদের শিল্পাঞ্চলেরই। বছর দেড়েক আগে ফেসবুক থেকে আলাপ শুরু করে রেজিস্ট্রি, pollution এর এই শহরের নক্শায় হাজার হাজার রোমিও জুলিয়েটের ভিড়ে আমরাও ছিলাম। আমরা ছিলাম আমাদের নিজের নিজের বাসায়, ধুলো ভেঁজা শিল্পাঞ্চলে। কারণ আমরা চেয়েছিলাম, আপন করে নেওয়া মানুষটা যেন বুকের মাঝেই থাকে!

কখনো পাহাড়, কখনো সমতল।
আমাদের বর্ধমান জেলায় যেভাবে বিয়েবাড়ি হয়, এই বিয়েটাও তেমনই। তবে এই বিয়েটার পিছনের গল্পটাই বেশি ইন্টারেস্টিং!
চা বাগান, কারখানার ধুয়ো, সবুজে ঘেরা পাহাড়, কলজে ভর্তি করা আবেগ; সব মিলিয়ে অনেক স্মৃতি। তারপর বিয়ে। নদীর দুকূল ছাপিয়ে যেমন বর্ষা আসে, পলিজমা মাটির গায়ে বেড়ে ওঠে নতুন গাছ, তেমনি করেই এই বিয়েটা এগোতে থাকলো...

বিশ্বনাথ এবং সঙ্গীতার বিয়ে! বিশ্বনাথ চেনা মুখ। কারণ ওর বোনের বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠানেই সে ছিল।
শীতকালীন বিয়ে যেমন হয় মেদিনীপুরে। দক্ষিবঙ্গের তুলনায় অনেক বেশি নিয়মকানুন। আলাদা কিছু আচার- ওখানের এর গানের মতো সুন্দর। আমের বন, লাল মাটি, পুঁইমাচা, সুপারির বন, পাকা ফসলের মাঠে বিয়ের উদযাপন!

দামোদরের পারেই কনের বাড়ি। শীত শুরুর এই বাংলায় সোহাগ তুলল একটা রামধনুর মতো উজ্বল মেয়ে। ব্যারেজপারের বাড়িতে ফুটল উৎসবের মেজাজ। বৃষ্টি নেই তো কী! বৃষ্টির রেখে যাওয়া শব্দ শিশির হয়ে ছড়িয়ে পড়ল ছাতিমফুলের ডালে, আমের পল্লবে। এভাবেই গল্পেরা চিত্রনাট্য হয় আমাদের বাংলায়। প্রতিদিন নতুন নতুন ভালথাকার গল্পে প্রাণ পায় ভালোবাসার গল্পরা ❤️
