*TRUFFLE TANGLES by ila completes 15 yrs today. 🙏 One and a half decades gone by....building a home grown brand in a new city from scratch way back in 2008 consistently wasn't an easy task. There are little little stories of struggle, of pain, sacrifices, compromises, loneliness, balancing of work, children, home, tussles, social media outbursts, standing tall in adversity because only YOU know your story. At the end of the day..... there is only HAPPINESS AND CONTENTMENT. The power and strength that I have been able to build around me makes me UNSTOPPABLE. With the thousands of connects over the years from all over the world...many many have stayed with me inspiring me to do better and better. A journey that was rewarding in terms of learning, hands on experience and knowledge. My hotel stint definitely gave shape to my skill set and made me confident to become who I am ☺ BUT being an entrepreneur gave me the wings to fly, it gave me the freedom to be my own boss with least politics, it was pure hard work, dedication and the tenacity to make my dream come true. It has made me self sufficient, strong and financially secure. As a woman I feel it's probably the most important achievement. I would continue to be a 'Mompreneur ' for a few more years as it was a conscious decision to stay home for the kids and imperative that I didn't lose sight of my skill set and career progression at the same time. From a multi cuisine 10 page menu way back in 2008 under the name 'Sweet Memories' to an elaborate Patisserie and speciality foods menu under 'Truffle Tangles ' in 2011....the learning continues....God has been kind and so has been my gut...happy to have made a mark in life, lived my dream, had a job while im looking after my health, enjoying being a housewife cooking for the family, gardening, looking after my dog and looking into the day to day activities at home. I'm making all efforts to keep evolving and investing in my personal growth while taking

On Friday I woke up at 330am, because I passed out at 10pm 🙄... by 630 I was groggy, sleepy feeling tired, i quit the walk 🤐and indulged in a bfast date at monu ki kachori...left a 1 day old maid to manage and do what she could.....i had to go...i had to go....fixed lunch for everyone, baked a cake and left for the gurgaon moms casual meet because #bosslady @neela_gurgaonmoms was in town. I'm so glad I made it after feeling so gloomy... I returned home all energized to find a sweet friend Aarti @orignce waiting to buy some sarees at the exhibition @passionbyila at home. And I had to finish the Mango gateaux for @vatsala_sharma soon after that All jam packed but worth it. Must try Alphonso Mango delicacies cakes and desserts by @truffletanglesbyila till 22nd April. Watch out for a array of goodies on 14th evening at the Baisakhi mela at Vatika city from 6pm. @passionbyila and @truffletanglesbyila will be putting up a stall.
