Hello. I am Saikat. I am a vocalist and guitarist. I love performing and am a frequent busker in the city.
I discovered my keen interest in music when I was a 3 year old small kid trying to sing along to all the songs airing on radio and listening to ghazals with my father. That’s when I received training in Tabla.
I found love during my teenage years in form of my guitar which easily became my escape from reality. Music has kept my sanity intact through this adventurous journey a.k.a life. I mostly carry my guitar with me everywhere I go, kya pata kaha mann kar jaaye gaana gaane ka :P
I have been a performer since my childhood but contrarily, I selfishly love singing for myself.
In those few moments, when I am present in the sacred confined space of the stage, I close my eyes and sing my heart out, in those few moments, I am free.
