After reading the benefits of betel leaf, we have on our health I am trying to churn out dishes around it. The betel leaf is an anti oxidant, good for digestion, diabetes etc, A good source of vitamin C, calcium and many more..

It was the morning of Choti Diwali 2016 when I got lots of party orders for lunch as well as dinner. One order of Kayasth cuisine was delivered at "Mr. Aalok Wadhwa's" Residence at lunch. With completely unaware of who he was, At 2.30pm in the afternoon he called me personally and complimented on the delicacies I had sent to him. It made my day and I continued with my preparations for the dinner orders and had no time to check my social media account. At 11pm I went on facebook and saw an appreciation post by Mr. Wadhwa for the delicacies I had sent to him in Gurgaon foodie. The appreciation continued when I received a runner's up Award for The Best Home chef after 2 months.
Thank You for that 1st pat on the shoulder that became my strength and inspiration to come this Far.
Aalok Wadhwa, a foodie and a blogger, true with his food reviews bought lots of recommendations, appreciation and suggestions from the entire Gurgoan Foodie family. I thank the entire Gurgaon Foodie family for always being there for me.

Also known as Sikandari Raan. The story of this delicacy goes back to the times when Alexander defeated Porus He was asked how he wished to be treated Porus said he wished to be treated like a king. And Alexander got a special banquet prepared where the raan was served. And Alexander was popularly known as Sikandar (the conqueror) hence this dish gets the name.
