"Weekend Jam" is a "Show with a difference". We JAM every week with musicians of different genre coming together, creating and exploring music. b. c.

Weekend Jam is an effort to:-
a. Promote and mainstream folk music of the region and support folk musicians in their pursuit, aiding in keeping the folk music culture alive. Create a platform to develop and foster the diversified musical abilities of the North East India Region by utilizing music as a tool to integrate with other parts of the country and the world. Start a platform that grows with

time by endorsing, publicizing and advocating the folk music and musicians of North East India, and showcase the musical abilities to the world. Weekend Jam is a project with the objective of uplifting traditional folk music, musical abilities and musicians, to aid preserving its musically inclined culture and heritage. Hence our objectives are:

• To “Uplift Folk Music & Musical Abilities” of Assam and North East India Region
• To Create a “Musically Inclined Practical Learning Environment”
• To Create “Career opportunities” in the field of Music
• To Support Culture and Tourism sectors of Guwahati, Assam

Besides the aforementioned, our efforts are also focused on aiding underprivileged children.
