Ankur J Das is the real name of COSMIC DHATU aka DJ ANKUR. He started absorbing influences from Indian Music and passionately indulge himself into mixing and creating Electronic music from a very early age, at 14. Beyond this, it was his love and passion for music which took him into various genres and then to the Psychedelic music as COSMIC DHATU. In March 2008 he started his career as a DJ from club βSilver Orchidβ in Guwahati as a Resident DJ and continued the journey till 2014 with a long chain of clubs. His performances were not confined here, he is the most sought after DJ for the most happening high profile events. He has performed for corporate houses like Tata Sky, AXE - Uniliver, Total Lubricant Oil, ITC, Maruti Suzuki, etc.
COSMIC DHATU injects a strong dose of High Energy to the mob through various moods in every performance given for the energetic audiences. he does it for the people to let them groove with the beat and let forget everything.
He is creative with his talent in all music genres to fit the right occasions for all his clients. He is popular among party people and dance music fans who know and love him for his years of spinning the best beats at the best clubs and festivals. Cosmic Dhatu aka DJ ANKUR has also collaborated with various International DJs like DJ GIG MAYO (South Africa), Bollywood Singer Aman Tirkha, and Assamese Musician Industry Zubeen Garg & Simanta Sekhar and also creating music covering various genres.
