It's been almost two years since we started Swati's Kitchen as a home based catering service.
After months of planning and effort,we are finally opening our first little restaurant 'Chai Shai'.

Lots of laddoos being made for orders for Naga Panchami.
In this picture - Boondi laddoo,Sev laddoo and Shenga laddoo.All the laddoos are freshly made with jaggery. Yum!

We are making Jalebi with Rabdi for an order today.Crispy hot Jalebi made in Ghee with thick creamy Rabdi.

As the name suggests, Shakkarpara is a crunchy snack that is mildly sweetened and is made of flour and ghee.

We made some Dabeli today. :)

Dabeli has filling of mashed potato with some Masala,groundnuts and pomegranate for the crunch, topped with sev and Imli chutney for the tangy flavor.

I think we are going to be making this amazing dish, Kukku Bajji, soon.
Kukku Bajji(Mango Curry) is made of slightly ripe Mangoes .This sweet and tangy Curry is is served with some Rice.

Kadhai Paneer, Mogar,Roti and Aam Ras,of course.

Aam Ras, Roti and Mogar are usually served together. Mogar is made of yellow moong dal, turmeric, chilly powder and tempered with mustard seeds.
