Saptaparni provides the ideal learning environment, where you and your child are introduced to unique ways of relaxation and intergenerational bonding, even as you acquire new skills. The emphasis is on activities that revive long forgotten Indian traditions and evoke the rich cultural diversity of our heritage. It was designed with a free hand that encompasses a liquid flow of spaces. The design

is flexible and the spaces are not restricted by too many walls. As with the building, so with the ideas-the intention is to facilitate a free flow of thought and energies.

Join us for a fun-filled storytelling session of Priyadarshini’s best-selling book, The Myth of the Wild Gaur, set in the scenic hills of Tamil Nadu.

Kids (8+) will also enjoy a hands-on activity where they’ll create their own clay gaur to take home.

Adi Ashtakam - An evening exploring the visual and intellectual beauty of the ashtakams penned by Adi Shankaracharya

The term ashtakam (अष्टकम् aṣṭakam), is derived from the Sanskrit word aṣṭā, meaning “eight”. In context of poetic Sanskrit compositions, ‘ashtakam’ refers to a particular form of poetry, written in eight stanzas.

The ashtakams for this presentation include

1. Sharda Bhujanga Ashtakam - Shreyasi Gopinath
2. Panduranga Ashtakam- Arundhati Patwardhan
3. Ganga Ashtakam - Prachi Save Saathi
4. Kala Bhairav Ashtakam - Mithun Shyam
