Writer’s block is something that we’ve all faced at one point or another. But have you ever faced something opposite? Like, you got so inspired of something, that you just couldn’t stop yourself from writing about it? Well, we recently did, after we got our hands on this beautiful wedding of the much-in-love couple, who danced like crazy throughout their wedding celebration.
Meet Divya Arora & Karan Kaushish, who bonded over a coffee date and decided on their forever, exactly two years after their first date. With truckloads of decor ideas, high-end venues, outfits that will get you hooked at first sight and a bride who had the cutest bridesmaid (her furball doggo-Jalebi).
Cherry Blossomed Engagement:
For the engagement ceremony, the decorations were centered around the japanese theme. Baby pink cherry blossoms tucked at the ceilings, pink paper parasols, blush blooms, retro style folding hand fans and paper lanterns were the key decor elements of the ceremony. We completely loved how the bride color-coordinated her pink all embellished lehenga with the decor.
Stylish Sangeet with Whimsical decor elements:
Looking effervescent as ever, Divya donned an unconventional white lehenga (totes’ princess vibes). The bride squad and the groom gang gave some heart warming choreographed performances. However, the highlight of the function was the classy decor which was created using quaint elements like glass chandeliers, candelabras, comfy sofas, suspended mirror strands and the plush property OF COURSE.
Pastel Pop Mehendi with Bride in Lavender:
The bride looked every bit of a diva in her embellished tulle lehenga with a glass beaded cut work choli which she perfectly teamed with a unique, pearl stranded mathapati, polki jhumkas, wavy hair and subtle makeup. The groom, on the other hand, looked all dapper in his baby pink bandhgala.
Fun Haldi with a Punjabi Tadka:
The haldi ceremony was a combination of vibrant colours and fun rituals. Yellow and pink hues alongside beautiful floral arrangements set the right mood and added a glow to the proceedings. Divya wore a bright yellow lehenga with matching floral jewellery. Also, not to forget the fun she had dancing like a pakki punjaban, holding that Matki on her head.
Resplendent Wedding with Dashing performances:
The wedding was one hell of a celebration. Right from the red and gold decor of the venue, the stunning phoolon ki chaadar, the bride's floral kaleeras and Ayushmann Khurrana's stellar performance, everything got us head over heels.
