On this World Environment Day, student organization Jhankaar-The beat of LPU under the aegis of Division of Student Welfare, is organising a live session with, Environmentalist and Founder of Geeli Mitti Foundation, SHAGUN SINGH, who is coming live with her foundation to address us, the people living in this environment and those whose hands behold the future, before any further apocalypse.

The topic we will be addressed on is "YOUTH FOR THE ENVIRONMENT ", which will help bring some time of serenity in this situation of dilemma.

“MAA: Every MOMent is special”

"Home is where your mom is.”
A mom’s hug is the warmest and happiest place for any child. The warmth, the love and sense of belonging like nowhere else. And that is why every moment with your mom deserves to be celebrated and cherished.
This Mother’s day, we, Jhankaar – the beat of LPU, under the aegis of student welfare LPU, present, “MAA: Every MOMent is special”, an effort and opportunity for everyone to create a special memory with their mothers. To be a part of this event, participants need to follow the Instagram trend and create a reel of 17-25 seconds on the song “runaway by aurora”.

Judging criteria:
The reels submitted by participants will be posted on Instagram handle of Jhankaar and participants can follow our instagram page and promote entries on their own. On a particular entry, points will be given as follows;
• 1 like = 1point
• 1comment = 2points
The one’s having the maximum points will win.

The competition will be held from 4th May 2021 to 12th May 2021. The entries will be posted on our social media page on 9th May and results will be declared on 12th May.

Student organization *Paigaam* in colloboration with student organization *Jhankaar- the beat of lpu* is organising an event *Maati*.

MAATI refers to mitti and that is our soil. Our brave soldiers' blood is being soaked in MAATI since when India became independent by sacrificing their life for our mother land.
In order to give respect and tribute to them. We with our Nation is going to celebrate 75th anniversary of India's *Let's come together and do plant sapling for the honour of Martyr Soldier.*
