Sona Tent was established by Late M.A Kareem at Jamshedpur in 1981. Over the years, with consistent service and on the basis of reputation, Sona Tent grew in the locality of AzadNagar. Kareem and his small group of labourers ensured that people always got the best of services. Later, when Abdul Aziz, who is more popularly known as "Haaji Saab" in Jamshedpur, the business grew from just being a pro
vider of Shamiyana and Utensils to actual decorations. Having assumed charge of the business from 1989, post his return from Saudi Arabia, where he was working. He even brought in skilled labour force to use in Puja Pandals as well as innovative decorations. With increasing competition, Sona Tent definitely had it's share of ups and downs, but with it's 3rd Generation now in-charge, it has been another new beginning. A young Abdul Qayyum, the youngest son of Abdul Aziz, is now taking Sona Tent to new heights under the mentorship of his father. The promise and assurance of service which M.A Kareem was known for, still is a priority for Sona tent.
