Carnival Culture – an Eco-Cultural-Tourism-Festival. Carnival Culture was planned to produce a conducive environment for youth address to create positive energetic vibes. The carnival is going to be held from 27th, 28th & 29th January 2018 in Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar. Carnival Culture is an attempt to showcase, protect, sustain and promote the rich heritage and traditions of the tribes of Assam. The carnival also aims to glorify and revive the culture and tradition of the tribes of Assam.
The carnival is designed with various activities like Folk Music Festival by various tribes of North East, such as Bodo, Rabha, Rajbongshi, Yogi, Dimasa, Santali, Bengali, Nepali, ect. Bodo Theatre, Folk Instruments & Old Bodo Melodies will also be performed on the stage of Carnival Culture.
A Bodo House with Local Sports with Street Football, Ethnic Food Festival & Cooking Competition and Ethnic Fashion Show is going be one of the most attractive parts of the carnival. Workshop on Cartoon with Exhibition on Art, Craft, Photography and Exterior Décor will also take place in the carnival.
For creating and awareness on Fitness, Carnival Culture is organizing workshops for Yoga and Zumba by professional trainers. In these days talents are hidden in their own places. In search of those hidden talents, carnival culture is creating a platform for upcoming hidden talents. We are organizing Semi Classical & Freestyle Dance Competition, Battle of the Bands for Musicians, Bodybuilding competition and Art Competition. Promoting Beautification and Gardening a Flower show will also take place in the carnival. Other activities like Baby Show, Dog Show, Magic Show, Exhibition by various vendors of BTAD. Carnival Culture is also organizing Urban Music Festival with Rock Show, Folk Fusion and DJ. Professional Stunt mans will showcase Stunts by Bike, BMX, MTB, Skateboard and Parkour in the carnival. The carnival will also highlight the tourists spots in BTAD area which are yet to be explored by the rest of the country. Carnival is arranging Bike Rides promoting safe riding in Various Places of BTAD, camping & bonfire with local unplugged music.
