Have been in the commercial photography scene since 2015...never have I ever thought of producing or directing a film in my dreams...but as they say...it happens when its bound to happen..
It was in mid 2019...I was kind of bored with wedding photography stuff so a thought came to my mind...to start showcasing stories via my company...
I was lucky enuf to be surrounded by some really talented bunch of people and I expressed my thoughts to Kasturi Di...who was a dear friend and next door neighbor....(she was the reason I cud be friends with calculus :P thnx di for those tutions in 12th standard)...
She shared with me a story which she had written and it was so sweet of her to give me a thumbs up and thus the process started..
Now every film/short film needs a good Cinematographer and yet again...I had this immensely talented fella in my team whose presence was a morale booster for me thanx Pratim for making this happen.... <3 God bless u bro!!
Another important hunt was of a script writer who cud shape this beautiful story and break it up into a short film... Anamitra Da then came into the picture...he was going thru a turmoil himself as his mom was suffering from this deadly disease called Cancer but still he agreed to be a part of this film. We wrote the script in a hospital..where his Mom was getting treated...unfortunately we lost her just few days before the shoot was scheduled to start....Hats off to him...there was no delay in the schedule and we pulled it off within the decided time frame... <3
We had sent the script to many Bengali film Industry actresses in hope k "koi to raazi ho hi jayengi" we were blessed to find out that all the actresses wanted to be a part of this project.....we were on cloud 9!! :) But after interacting with Tulika Di...we knew we had found our "Uma" the lead character..she was such a cheerful and sporting lady who stood by us like a pillar and guided us through <3
We wanted to cast a girl who would be of age 13-15 and our sea

This was one of the most exciting Bengali wedding we have had captured recently. Two absolutely energetic and charming beings made this event more colourful and interesting. We were welcomed as a part of their respective families.

"Its been a dream yesterday...emotions were sky high...the madness of the crowd...the screams....the passion of the fans shows how CRAZY they are for this voice...
Some great cricketer had said few lines about Sachin Tendulkar once that this guy has the power to stop TIME in his country....same happened yesterday....It usually takes 45 minutes from my house to the venue on a sunday afternoon....but since it wasn't an ordinary sunday...It took me around 3 hours to drive as almost all the cars were heading towards Eco Park.....atmosphere out there was insane.....
This gentleman then stood up on stage and decibels ROARED....such a simple, humble human being he is.....the smile that he carried around a decade back was still there....he even accepted the sketches that fans made for him and signed autographs while he already was singing.....God what a charming persona....!! Hats off to you for your gesture..
The best part though was when he took on the piano and sang some breathtaking bengali numbers.... <3 the Kolkata audience did the harmonica quiet skillfully....
Many singers would come and go but you Arijit Singh are class apart....God bless You!! Hope to meet you someday...
