Poila Boishak er Shera Love Story chosen by Palki :- Story- Subhamita Majumder
Well, It all started with a friend request from a stranger on Facebook. Initially reluctant to accept, I finally accepted him after a through investigation of his profile.
I do not remember when for the first time we chatted or what we have talked about, but soon I realized that there was a growing proximity between us. He had an amazing sense of humor and had the ability to make me smile on whatever situation I was in. I started liking him!
He used to talk about his innumerable friends, his passion for football, how he wants to become a football coach some day, his obsession with Manchester United and his unfulfilled dreams of creating his own Bangla Band and so on…
I too shared my utmost dreams and desires with him. I never knew sharing thoughts with him could be so satisfying.
Months passed like this and it was the time of Durga Puja that we finally decided to meet.
It was a saptami evening at Maddox Square. I arrived before time and was waiting for his arrival with a dash of restlessness, to catch a glimpse of him. Moments seemed eternity and suddenly I saw him emerge from the crowd of pandal hoppers smiling at me. Our eyes met, it was magical
We talked our hearts out that day. He explained how he missed me all this while and how much he wanted to see me and how he never felt like this before. Eventually he spoke those magical words to me and suddenly the sound of the Dhaks felt softer and the world seemed to have slowed down , I could only nod in response and YES we were in LOVE.
There was no looking back from that time. We frequently met after that , been to some of the city’s posh restaurants and sometimes left our trace on the nooks and corners of this lovely city Kolkata. We have had our ups and downs but ‘Love” was the only glue that helped to stick us together.
Now after 4 years of our courtship and whirlwind romance we are planning to make our fairy-tale from “Once Upon a Time” to “Happily Ever After”.
