Shri Javadekar,
I write to you as a concerned citizen regarding the draft notification of the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), 2020. The proposed draft notification is not in conformity with the powers conferred to it under its parent legislation, the Environmental Protection Act, 1986, and it fundamentally changes the EIA process. It does this by
● Greatly reducing the rigour and number of regulatory oversights
● Reclassifying various industries so they are not required to get environmental clearance
● Compromising on public hearings with their scope and duration reduced.
● Normalising environmental violations
I therefore request the MoEFCC to withdraw, and shelve, the EIA 2020 draft notification, and instead, strengthen the EIA 2006.

LA MODE (THEME SHOW) 🕴️ .
⚡RULES AND REGULATIONS⚡
1. A team shall consist a maximum of 10 – 20 members on stage in addition to designers, choreographers, etc.
2. The show consists of a single thematic round, participants can choose the theme of their interest.
3. The maximum time will be limited to 15 minutes. All the teams should provide a brief introduction to the theme before starting and additional 3 minutes will be given.
4. One person per team is required to manage the soundtrack and lights each.
5. No supporting staff will be provided by the college.
6. No properties or costumes shall be provided by the college.
7. Usage of hazardous materials of any kind on stage has to be informed to the coordinators prior to the show.
8. Music should be submitted to the organizers 90 minutes before the commencement of the event in mp3 format. Two copies of the soundtrack are needed.
9. Flagrant nudity or vulgarity shall not be tolerated.
10. The obscenity of any sort will not be entertained.
11. Any non-registered member of the crew on the stage will lead to the disqualification of the whole crew.
12. The first prize shall be declared alone in the case of 3 participating teams.
13. Judgment will be based on design, theme, choreography, ramp walk, and model.
14. The decision of judges will be final and binding under all circumstances.
15. Each participant should carry their respective college/university identity proof.
16. Every participant must be a college/university student. *1st Prize 🥇: 30K 2nd Prize 🥈: 20K

SWAG CREW (GROUP DANCE)💃🕺👯 .
⚡RULES AND REGULATIONS⚡
1. Every group must consist of 6 to 26 members.
2. No substitution permitted.
3. Any unverified performer on the stage will result in disqualification.
4. Mask or face painting is allowed, although not advised.
5. Both Online registration and Spot registration are available.
6. The use of dangerous equipment are strictly prohibited.
7. A total of 10 minutes will be granted for the performance and prop setup if any needed.
8. The participants will be judged on the basis of their rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, and costumes, makeup, setup, and overall effects.
9. The first prize shall be declared alone in the case of 3 participating teams.

POPZILLA (ACOUSTIC BAND)🎸🎤 .
⚡ RULES AND REGULATIONS⚡
1. The number of participants should be restricted to a maximum of 10 members and a minimum of 4 members
2. Minimum 2 acoustic instrument is a must
3. 5 piece standard drum set will be provided
4. Provision for connecting a bass, lead and a couple of acoustic guitars are included.
5. For Keyboard, Band members can use a piano tone or an electric piano tone
6. For Electric Guitars, Clean tones / acoustic tones with the help of processors can be used
7. The band must be pure of the acoustic genre
8. A band can be disqualified if the judges found any use of distorted tones
9. Judging will be done on the basis of melody, rhythm, singing according to the best performance, interaction with the audience.
10. Maximum time to perform on stage is 15 mins including 5 mins setup time
11. The first prize shall be declared alone in the case of 3 participants.
12. The decision of judges will be final and binding under all circumstances.
13. Each participant should carry their respective college/university identity proof.

2. The second and final round will be conducted on stage, which includes • Self-introduction • Instant story building (Slideshow & Property) • Game round • Talent round • Marketing skills • Stress interview • Situation reasoning
3. Six persons will be selected from preliminaries to the final rounds.
4. Language is of contestant’s preference but if the judges demand English in any rounds, then their demand is to be followed.
5. Candidates must behave in a disciplined manner.
6. Participants must report on the specified time itself, else will result in elimination.

REDDITOR (DJ COMPETITION)
⚡ RULES AND REGULATIONS⚡
1. Each participant will be allowed a total time of 15 mins, including 3 min of set up a time
2. A minimum of 5 tracks should be played.
3. Pre-mixed sets and Bollywood mashups will not be allowed.
4. Only original tracks are allowed.
5. No genre limitations.
6. Contestants should bring their own CDs/pen drives & headphones
7. Standard pioneer CDJs and DJM will be provided.
8. Laptops/DJ performance software will not be allowed during the time of performance.
9. Marks are given on the basis of the number of tracks mixed, scratching, crowd control, emceeing, creating FX usage, mixing skills, live mashups, acapella mixing and professional approach.
10. If the number of participants exceeds a certain limit prelim will be conducted.
11. The first prize shall be declared alone in the case of 3 participating teams.
12. The decision of judges will be final and binding under all circumstances.
13. Each participant should carry their respective college/university identity proof.
