Carpe Dictum is BITS Goa's annual Literary fest, organised by the Literary and Debate Club, with the help of Waves - BITS Goa's annual cultural fest. Carpe Dictum is an attempt to foster a culture of increased literary activity among those who have embraced the technical arts. With events like National Poetry Slam, Word Games, JAM, Quizzes, and Creative Writing, it is 3 days of a veritable buffet

for the wordsmith inside each of us. One of the most awaited event during Carpe Dictum is a series of talks by eminent authors, journalists and literary personalities over the course of three days. In the first few editions, we had Jerry Pinto, Fredrick Noronha, Dr Shashi Tharoor, and Rajdeep Sardesai deliver guest lectures to packed auditoriums.
