While integrating children into a new marriage and wedding can be rewarding, it also requires careful consideration and planning. Communication is key, as is understanding the unique needs and emotions of all family members involved. Well, firstly, all of the musicians, artists, dancers, bands, DJs you see in our photos are by far the most talented bunch of people we’ve worked with. The kind of work they put in their craft is unreal and you can see how much value their art holds for them just by looking at these photos.

When you’re hiring artists, please treat them with respect and dignity because their art takes them years to master. They curate art, based on the interests of the crowd and thrive on their energy.

Having them, will give your guests a break from the dressing and eating pattern of weddings and really take them to a different space.

It is believed that haldi rasam is done in order to prevent evil spirits from harming the to-be-wed couple. As a result, the bride and groom are typically not allowed to leave their home after the haldi ceremony until their wedding mahurat.

In Indian customs, turmeric’s bright yellow colour is highly auspicious. The couple, who are beginning their new life together, is blessed with prosperity thanks to the good fortune of this element and its colour. For this reason, the groom and bride wear yellow attire for their wedding haldi ceremony.

In addition to its ability to beautify, purify, and detoxify, haldi is also thought to lessen some of the anxiety that the bride and groom experience. Turmeric contains an antioxidant called curcumin, which has been shown to have mild antidepressant and headache-relieving properties.

Like we said, all friends pitched in to make this wedding a wedding.

The outfit Nandu wore; a pink Kanjivaram from paired with a beautiful Lehenga skirt and Dupatta custom made by . The make up on Nandu, was minimal and really really so light, by , who’s literally the best in buisness.
Her wedding invite was designed for her as a wedding present, by , whose talent in design we can’t talk enough about.

Sam & Nandu,

When we began preparing for Sam and Nandu’s wedding in 2020, the pandemic struck, presenting us with numerous challenges.

We had to reschedule the wedding multiple times, adjust the guest list, change the venue, and modify the menu.

Finally, in June 2021, we were able to finalize all the arrangements. Our intimate gathering consisted of 60 guests, with 30 of them being close friends. Together, we all pitched in to handle tasks like makeup, creating invitations, purchasing gift favors and more.

Nandu & Sam,

Back in 2020, we wanted to start ‘Out of the Box,’ but we just didn’t know how to do it. Despite the pandemic, our passion to make weddings happen was more than just a dream. So, we asked our friends Sam and Nandu if they’d let us do this for them, and they gladly agreed.

In the four years since the inception of ‘Out of the Box,’ we’ve reflected on how much we’ve learned and how much we’ve grown. Even when we look back at how we started, it fills us with pride. Everything we did was with our whole and soul.
