Not everything that glitters is gold.
Not everything that glows in the dark is neon!

What passes as Neon in the event industry is usually not Neon in its true sense. Its generraly a "glow in the dark" or inlit material which is cheap and definitely not Neon. Normal lights, dimmed to a low level is used. At Colour Purple Events, we use UV reactive material for the decor and props alongwith UV lights. Even a white shirt will glow because of the UV light. This is more expensive, but neon in its truest sense.
