One of those days when your thoughts become things! 😇

Our faculty from Bangalore for the Psychoanalytic therapy session from my ongoing advance therapy course, is such a wonderful teacher with tremendous knowledge. His detailed explanations kept me so much engrossed and his genuine efforts to impart knowledge was quite significant.
Sharing feedback is a part of every session and we get a reminder to do it after every session . But he did not ask even once to do that and with this act he showed that his work is enough and he knows what he is giving and does not require any validation from anyone for his work.
I too believe that when you give 100% to your work and you are satisfied and contented yourself, you don’t require any external validation.
Hence, your work should speak for yourself rather than you make people speak for your work.

ONE OF THOSE INSPIRING DAYS! 🌻

Some days turned out to be so inspiring. One such day was when my mom’s 82 years old cousin brother and bhabhi, a retired airforce officer and an a retired executive officer from Taj Hotel respectively, visited us from Pune as they wanted to meet mom.

They drove down to Mumbai by themselves, stayed at airforce officer’s mess and visited us the next day and brought whole lot of snacks for us.

One of the most graceful, self-dependent, knowledgeable, disciplined, optimistic and joyful old couple I have come across who keep traveling, mostly abroad completely on their own.

Their presence, valuable conversations and energy was so inspiring and enriching.

While leaving what my mama said, made me feel so good.
He said, “ life hai, shareer hai toh kuch na kuch toh chalta rahega, uske baare mein kya baat karna… bimari - bimari bolte rahenge toh bimar hi rahenge”. What I keep saying to everyone, he said exactly the same and it made me feel really happy.

Their short and valuable visit reminded everyone that life is short and to be lived and most of the time it functions in the way we have created it with our mindset, our thought process and our actions.

Write a story for yourself which can make others happy and inspired! 🌻

We at Sattva • सत्व 🪷believe in sharing and caring and spreading love and light!

Today while traveling by Metro, my observation gave me some mixed feelings.
I was empathised with and felt sad while looking at the challenges that people face in life .

A lady with her 4-5 years old son who was wearing some sort of machine around his head and at the back of his ears. Although he was so playful unaware of the problem he must be having but I was imagining the sadness of that young mother.

A middle aged woman who was sitting and her feet were terribly swollen. I was wondering how she was wearing those closed shoes and how she must be walking and climbing the steps on the station.

An obese married woman who must be facing so many challenges in her life because of those extra kgs .

This world is full of people who are facing their own challenges and need empathy and kindness towards each other.
And also we must always feel grateful for everything good given to us in this world, full of sorrows. 🙏🏻
