Isn’t she ethereal in the pastel lehenga, but it is the traditional Pichoda and Kumaoni mukut elevating her bridal grace. These traditional mukuts aren’t just accessories - but a symbol of heritage, pride & blessings.
More than just ornate crowns, these ‘mukuts’ are living testament to local craftsmanship. In earlier times, the crown used to be handcrafted with divine imagery - Lord Ganesha for the groom, Radha-Krishna for the bride - alongside intricate hand-drawn motifs of bel, roses, and parrots.
Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, blesses the groom’s journey, while Radha-Krishna embodies unconditional love for the bride.
At Phere Tales, we feel honoured to witness this beautiful confluence of heritage and contemporary style, where traditions are not just followed but cherished.
