Dazzle your party (DYP) is a specialized store focusing on housing all kinds of party supplies, situated in I.C. Colony, Borivali (west). Dazzle your party was born in a little warehouse in the winter of 2016. It is a family owned business venture. The name was suggested by their child as she found party and decorations to be a dazzling affair. The shop simply carries things that make a party pretty and create a delightful atmosphere; all things available are colorful, lovely or sweet that they make you squeal when you discover them.

It seemed right to name this third venture, since; the sole proprietor Jennifer was always associated with parties, her first venture being an event management company, LZC Eventz. Procurement of party supplies is one of various levels involved in the process of organizing a party and obviously the prime reason for this venture. The roots were sowed from the very first party which she organized. As she says, it took hours of understanding the right type decorations, color coordination and the most time consuming process called shopping the items from different suppliers to make that party perfect, armed with an idea as if it was a scene from one of our cinematic movies (I still remember every detail!).

Generally, the price of party supplies is exorbitantly high and paying this much could be heavy on the pockets. Hence, an inspiration for an affordable store, where a variety of these collections could be placed, aroused in the mind of our genius entrepreneur! I.C. Colony was the first choice as the demographics, foot traffic, and accessibility were ideal.

She saw. She observed. She gazed. On this endeavor joined by her best working partner (husband) identified what the customers were looking for and what was lacking in the offerings, and arranged for a wide stock so that their clients were always happy with the celebratory articles that were offered. Moreover, customers could choose from the collection or even personalize items so that the parties, even virtually, could be celebrated with amazing adornments.

Soon after they opened the physical store, they realized there was great demand for the products they were sourcing, and they quickly outgrew their store - moving to yet another warehouse. Along the way, they’ve added all sorts of party items, including balloons, paper dinnerware, costumes, and seasonal decorations. They aimed on covering a variety of theme parties, anniversaries, birthdays to baby showers; and so included a wide range of decorative items, gifting, and other fun items!

If we look at our competitors, they might have a huge physical space for inventory, but we have that covered with our extensive range of party supplies for shoppers. The proprietor Jennifer says, “We’ll do a purchase order once a fortnight, carefully select each item as per recent trends so shoppers can get anything out of the catalogue.”

Moreover, they observed that parent-teacher associations require huge supplies for the distinct events they host, all around the year. So, we could say that they are the major patrons of the party supply store. For this, they came up with a ‘Discount Program’ in favour of the schools.
