Everyday phenomenal
Sonam + Anand
You know those happy kind of weddings where they are so fond of each other that nothing but smiles fly aroud everytime they are together. THAT, is what this was. No emotional drama, no long speeches just these two and a whole lot of giggling 😁
Here is a glimpse from this day... Last year
Big shout to @lisamishramusic for lending her voice to this in one day (how awesome is that!)

The AntiC wedding trailer
antics
antɪks/
noun
foolish, outrageous, or amusing behaviour
As Anshul (the groom) famously said on the first day of his wedding, "There are two types of poeple in most wedding, boys side and girls side ... our wedding will have a third ... the drunk side" Little did we know that everyone will fall into the third catergory ;)
For those of you who have loved watching the anti wedding trailer, we are calling this one the antic trailer and for all the right reasons. Anshul and diksha are crazyily in love with each other and crazy in general. Their friends like to party on the borderline of celebration and lunacy and their wedding was a cocktail of emotions and other alcohol.
Here is presenting the Antic Wedding Trailer
A fab fan event by Rudra.ioevents, decor by Silhouette Events, @theweddingbartenders killing it at the bar and of course a brilliant venue JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa

The Anti Wedding Trailer
This is a wedding trailer. Here is what you may be expecting
1. Dramatic soundbytes in hushed voices about undying love and eternal togetherness #philosophy #pukemyself #formula
2. People crying, babies crying, effin dogs at the wedding crying #tear-jerks #original
3. No true madness, no dirty secrets #sanskar
4. Branding smack in the middle of the trailer #coz_we_are_attention_whores
5. Just another wedding
There is a small twist though, that was not just another wedding and this is NOT just another trailer.. In fact, it is so away from just another trailer, we decided to call it the ANTI wedding trailer :D
Enough said. Select HD. Make sure your parents aren't around. Hit play.

Epic Slideshow
A slideshow that was 5 years in making! (if you can, watch with the HD option enabled)
Reels and Frames started out of one corner of a bedroom, a little over half a decade ago. I was the CEO from the start, mostly because it was a one person company. I would shoot and Garima would edit whatever appealed to our heart, we couldn't care less about having a 'goal'.
When work started coming in though, things began to have a purpose. We saw photography not only as a medium of expression but as a tool to give our clients lifetime worth of memories. Empowerment!
It was only when we became a team though, dynamics changed completely. Suddenly we were this group of turbo charged individuals who just wanted to make THE BEST out there. Competitive, maybe ... Inspired, HELL YEAH! We would spend hours and hours analyzing the works of global top photographers and wonder 'Can we ever come close?' As years passed by, we managed to land a few good shots ourselves and doing that became our dose of endorphin rush. This slideshow is an attempt to share some of that rush with you! I recommend you turn up the speaker volumer and enable HD viewing.
Shout out to everyone in the team who achieved this! Teju Nookala, Siddhesh Mapuskar, Aditi Verma, Harsh Mehta, Tushar Kumar and Sumit Bhardwaj
and it goes on and on and on ... and it goes ON and ON and ON!
and it goes on and on and on ... and it goes ON and ON and ON!
The best way to pass a monday? Create something new! This is what are called 'cinemagraphs' and have been on the back on my mind for a while now. I'll be posting a series of these in the coming days, so let me know how you like them!

Love and Holi
Love and Holi
Holi is a festival of fire, color, music and catharsis of lower instincts. People don't only throw colour at each other, they throw their morality, culture and the code of conduct to the winds. As you drench, you are cleansed.
Holi transcends beyond material celebrations into a spiritual journey that unites. I had the opportunity to witness this divine emotion in the birthland of Krishna. Nothing that I've ever captured has stirred me more. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I'm presenting in this small film.

Clients speak - Akansha and Pujan
Hear hear
I just finished writing a piece for a magazine where I was asked to give advice to to-be-weds about wedding photography. I say this not as a photographer but a married man, hire a team that makes photography an experience for you rather than an item off the list. The memories of who shoots your big day, will last for a long long time. Take time out to know your photographer, share stories ... maybe over a round of drinks! As I look back, I see a long list of clients but an even longer list of client-turned-into-friends. A quick testimonial here from two of my favourites, Akansha Sumaria and Pujan Sumaria-Shah. Cheers to you guys!
