Academic Committee Event: What's Trending?

Round 1:
Social media marketing.
Brief: In this round, the team should create a new, innovative and feasible product of any category. They need to create the product, name the product, design the logo, create a tagline and the key points of the product's salient features. After this, the team needs to choose ONE social media platform. It can be Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Then they to create a page for their product promotion. The maximum likes and following on the chosen social media will be the judging criteria.

Flow:
1. Register for the event as soon as possible, as it is a round that will be conducted 10 days-prior from the actual day of the event.
2. Use of strictly one social media platform.
3. A product can be new product (for new product there will be additional points) or modify the existing product.
5. The product design, value, price, physical attributes and it's reach will be judged upon.
6. Use of the social platform, page creativity, product details, the reach and inputs of the product will be judged upon.
7. The product chosen should be feasible, environment-friendly and should be valid.
8. The judgement will be based on the product chosen, innovative page design, the use of social media and the reach on the platform used.
9. This is the qualifying round. Final results to be declared by the judges prior the day of the event. The decisions are taken once and are binding.

Important notice: The details of the social media used, the product chosen and the link of the following should be E-mailed before 10:00am on 12th February, 2019

The Wall Street Survivor is an online simulation game to learn about stock market trading and investment. To participate, each team will have to make a payment of Rs. 100 and can use the account for 1 month even after the fest.
