Remembering the legendary Padmashri and the Padma Vibhushan Santoor maestro, Pt. ji on his Birth anniversary. Did you know Pt. Shivkumar Sharma ji partnered with Pt. ji and the duo known as Shiv-Hari produced some of the finest Indian classical music albums of the 20th century besides scoring the music for several films. Notable among their feature film credits are the romantic drama Silsila (1981), Chandni (1989), Lamhe (1991) and Darr (1993), and they've been nominated thrice for the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. The 1967 Hindustani classical music album Call of the Valley remains one of Shiv-Hari's most celebrated works till date.
