To encourage and provide Girl Child Education in pre-independent India, Arya Samaj, 15 Hanuman Road, started this school on 01 May, 1944 in a 2.75 acre plot in the present Location. Raghumal, who donated Rs. 50,000.00 in early stages of development of the school, has been honoured by adding his name to the school name. Architecturally, designed as OM, the school became very popular in fifties and
our First President, Dr. Rajinder Prasad admitted his five granddaughters to this school for their Primary Education. Later many other Prominent Persons, Members of Parliament and Ministers in Government of India, including Mr. Jagjivan Ram, admitted their daughters and granddaughters to this school for their Education. The present building Structure was completed in 1954 when the second story was added to the school. Now, this 70 year old School has 1500 Students in 40 classes. The school follows the “Vedic Principles of Education” and in addition to regular academic teaching, also provides moral education and personality development so that students can soldier all kinds of responsibilities after they pass out. The school alumni have a large number of successful IAS officers, Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, etc. It takes Students from all walks of life and all communities without any discrimination.
