Our Story
It all started from personal experience at 31000 ft above the ground. In 2016, I was trying to search for my daughters personal documents and home work on my way to home (Los Angeles) from Denver, CO. After flipping through numerous emails in various mail box, I still could not find all the information I was looking for. Needless to say, I spent 2 hrs doing that. That was a lighting bulb moment when I thought, I need to get this straighten. That is when Chalksphere was born. It is an invisible sphere around a student, where I can tap into any information I need about my child on a single click and should be able to go to her data. That led us to create the app which is being used by over 25,000 parents today.
From what started off as a single app, when we talked to schools we found that schools in India do not have a system or have numerous rudimentary small systems to manage their business. Unless the root is strengthened the communication app will not gain power and hence we built the comprehensive school management software. Once that was built it was then integrated with app so that there is seamless flow of data between the system.
As a third project, we built learning management system, a state of the art e-learning platform when teachers can give students assignments online and students can submit it online. This platform can be used for teachers learning as well.
Last but not the least, it was my pet program of making the learning personalized. For that we built a platform which takes inputs about the student strength and builds a personalized profile for child filled with career options, colleges to go and professional coaches to seek guidance.
