This strength has given us an opportunity to be a part of Goa’s Biggest events like the Grape Escapade, Heritage Festival, India Bike Week, India Resort Fashion week, Nokia India Fest, The Navy Ball, The Goan Achievers Award by Navhind Times & Viva Goa, Goa Fest, Sony India Pvt Ltd Annual Meet and SSK Samsung Launch in Bangkok etc. These events have been an epitome of benchmark events in the entertainment industry in the Goan Market. Please find below a description of what we have executed in the following events: Grape Escapade The Grape Escapade, a 4-day Wine Festival, organized by Goa Tourism Development Corporation, presents luxury and lifestyle concepts and promotes 'Brand Goa' to the rest of the world. This event is being organized for the last eight years and focuses on various national and international wine brands but also presents culinary delights from across the globe, international fusion cuisine and exotic desserts besides a wide range of music, dance and act performances. We Funky Heads were responsible for the entire Site construction and event planning for all the four days. From Artist management to event management, Funky heads did it all. India Resort Fashion Week India Resort Fashion Week - Asia's largest platform showcasing latest trends in resort wear and beach fashion. It was held in the perfect setting of Goa's beautiful beaches, with a splendid combination of glitz, glamour, music and extravagance and was an enthralling experience! Funky Heads being an integral part had to conceptualize, create and execute the event. The standards and quality had to be high as the event had the industry’s best being associated to this event. From venue planning to site layouts to onsite fabrication and event ex*****on Funky Heads did it all. The event tested Funky Heads ability to handle artist management, production and set design, event ex*****on and overall logistics of the entire event which was executed flawlessly to the satisfaction of the client as well as the artists that performed. The event was an initiative integrating 3 dimensions: 1. IRFW is Asia's Largest Fashion Festival involving National and international labels showcasing their Beach Resort Wear (James Ferreira, Rocky S, Narendra Kumar, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Rachna Sansad School of Fashion and Textile, Gitanjali, Neeta Lulla, Sushma Patel and more). 2. A trade platform for national and international buyers, wherein showcasing the collection is followed by its sales. It doesn't limit itself to fashion but also expands to one of a kind. 3. Music Festival again inviting World renowned Dj's specializing in House, Electro House, Progressive House and Trance genre (High On Heels, Fabio & Moon, Paris Hilton, Star Killers, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Riva Starr, Sidney Samson, David Morales, Robbie Rivera, Vijay Chawla, Ma Faiza, DJ Ivan, Anish Sood and more). India Bike Week India Bike Week - the largest festival of bikes, bikers and music in India's history. 26 Live Bands & DJ's, 3 Concert Stages, 100+ amazing Bikes, 16 Cage Fighters, the Cigar & Whiskey Club & Howling Dog Bar, Biker Build Off, Flea Markets, 2 Race Tracks, Stunt Zones and the Vintage Bike Concours. 8,000 Bike & Festival fans hit 7 acres of bikes, music and mayhem in Goa. Funky Heads was the Ground Partner in terms of Production and Artist Management. Navy Ball Goa The Navy Ball Celebrations are a tradition in INS Hansa, Goa since 1971 and Funky Heads has been privileged to bag the honor to conduct the festivities consecutively since 2011. Funky Heads has been instrumental in the entire site construction event flow and artist management for the event. Youth Champions League The Youth Champions League gives an opportunity and an assurance to revive football in India. 250 matches were played at 7 grounds all over Goa with schools from 28 states all over the country. This season - 2012, the League was honoured with the privilege of the support of a master of international football - Luis Figo. We Funky Heads, were basically a production support and branding advisor for the event. SSk-Samsung Launch in Bangkok The SSK Samsung launch was an event that took the company International where we Funky Heads did the production set, event management and artist management for SSK the client who is the main dealer for Samsung in West India. The company got a chance to work with Bollywood stars to the likes of superstars like Gauhar Khan, Zarine Khan, Anusha Dandekar and Minisha Lamba. Heritage Festival An occasion to celebrate the rich art, culture and heritage of Goa, the Goa Heritage Festival begun on the 18th April and will continue till 21st of the month of March 2013. The event was organized by the Tourism Department against the backdrop of the 125-year-old Gothic-style Mae De Deus church. The festival aimed to showcase and promote Goa’s rich heritage and traditions. The event highlighted Goan music, dance, cuisine, arts and crafts. Stalls had been put up promoting crafts such as pottery, woodcraft, crochet, handicrafts and so on. There was also a Goan food court, managed by village self-help groups. The Goa Tourism Development Corporation had set up an exhibition, ‘Great Goans in history’, which comprised of photographs of Goans’ traditional way of life, historic moments and so on. A special section on Saligao showcased the history of the church, the village and heritage houses in the village. We Funky Heads did the entire venue construction, the ambience and set construction of the entire venue. We managed the technical aspect of the event when it came to sound, lights and projection. Nokia India Fest The Nokia India Fest is India’s biggest college festival where nearly 400 colleges participate all over India battling it out at zonals in various parts of India and then coming to Goa and battling at the Finale. Funky Heads have been working very close with 70’s EMG and Channel V taking care of Ground permissions, Site construction, local artist management and production and fabrication support for various brands at the festival which takes place at the Baga Grounds every year. For Channel We take care of their Advertising campaign locally in terms of media reach like Radio, print advertisements, Billboards, and local activations in colleges and hang out spots. The Goan Achievers Award by Navhind Times & Viva Goa The Goan Achievers Awards by Navhind Times & Viva Goa is one of the most prestigious Awards that recognizes Local Goans in their field of excellence namely in the art, literature, music and cultural industry. Funky Heads were responsible for the entire Awards Set Construction, Artist Management and Event Management for the event. We had prominent personalities grace the occasion like the Governor, The Chief Minister and all the prominent people in the various fields mentioned above to grace the occasion. Diana Hayden, the Miss World of 1997 and Bollywood actress was the main Host and Compare for the evening. Goa Fest- Media Fest The Goa Fest is a South Asian advertising Festival that happens every year in Goa. Seventy EMG which is a Mumbai based event company is tied by with Funky Heads as their local on ground partner where we handle the production, artist management, local permissions for the company. We have been working closely with 70’s from the inception of Goa Fest since the last 4 years.
