In Sicilian, the phrase "Ciatu do me cori" encapsulates the meaning of life. The breath that moves the heart and the whole body.

And it is precise "u cori", the heart, that is in everything I do, especially in the art of de-COR-are (Italian word for decor).

That is why I wanted to include it within the name of my project.
DECORI includes what I care about most: the art of decoring and emotions.

In siciliano la frase “Ciatu dome cori” racchiude il significato della vita. Il fiato che muove il cuore e tutto il corpo.

Ed è proprio “u cori” che sta in tutto quello che faccio, soprattutto nell’arte del de-COR-are.

Ecco perché ho voluto includerlo all’interno del nome del mio progetto.
DECORI racchiude in sé ciò a cui tengo di più: l’arte del decoro e le emozioni.

Most of Sicily's symbols boast a deep and ancient tradition. They are rooted in the history of our land, in the peasant tradition and tell the wisdom of the past.

I consider them real Sicilian treasures, that I love to include in the projects I make for you, often making them important details of the floral decorations, of a table centerpiece, a place card, or to design the path of the bride and groom on the aisle.

Then again, this is how Sicily is made, full of poor but value-filled riches that take us back to ancient times, when from simple dwarf palm leaves were made the "coffees" that the whole world wears today.

La maggior parte dei simboli della Sicilia vantano una tradizione antica e profonda. Affondano le radici nella storia della nostra terra, nella tradizione contadina e raccontano la sapienza del passato.

Io li considero dei veri e propri tesori siciliani che amo inserire nei progetti che realizzo per voi, rendendoli spesso dettagli importanti delle decorazioni floreali, di un centro tavola, un segnaposto, o per disegnare il percorso degli sposi sulla navata.

D’altronde la Sicilia è fatta così, piena di ricchezze povere ma piene di valore, che ci riportano a tempi antichi, quando da semplici foglie di palma nana si realizzavano le "coffe" che oggi tutto il mondo indossa.

La Sicilia è luogo di bellezze senza tempo, di antiche tradizioni e di natura prorompente.

Una terra che racchiude in sé mille volti, eredità di diverse culture passate da questi luoghi e di accadimenti storici che hanno lasciato il segno con un patrimonio culturale immenso: dalle antiche dimore rurali alle tonnare, dai castelli arroccati agli sfarzosi palazzi barocchi.

Tutto è scrigno di tradizioni e rituali tramandati da generazione a generazione, creando un profondo senso di unione e appartenenza.

La Sicilia è un’isola, ma noi isolani la apriamo al mondo con la voglia di condividere tutto ciò che ci ha reso quelli che siamo.
