Lariomania is an inclusive development project that supports local economies.
It was conceived to create a local, social and sustainable agricultural supply chain for the recovery of historic agricultural plantations and support small productions.

Lariomania cultivates fields to favor the maintenance of the typical flora of the area and recovers local grounds to preserve biodiversity and enhance the cultural heritage of the place.

The produced food such as olive oil, mulberry jam, honey, etc. can be purchased as gadgets for corporate or private events. You can also organize tastings and cooking classes using products grown in the area by disabled or disadvantaged people. It is also possible to create an experience that integrates one of these ideas within other visit itineraries to discover the area.

Hilton Lake Como has a strong bond with the territory: it supports local associations by purchasing products at zero distance, the team personally engages in voluntary work at the soup kitchen or cooperates to the realization of social projects, it donates food and non-food products to the most needy, it is a Too Good To Go point of sale to tackle the problem of food waste and much more.

LECCO AND ITS TREASURES

Culture and tradition intertwine in the evocative scenery of Lecco, with small villages overlooking the lake that paint the area with vibrant colors and thousand-year-old stories.

The city of Lecco inspired Alessandro Manzoni's famous novel “The Betrothed”; from Villa Manzoni to the Church of San Nicolò, his literary legacy is tangible.

Among the most evocative villages, Varenna is certainly one the most beautiful on Lake Como, with its cobbled alleys, elegant villas and the romantic atmosphere.
A visit to Villa Monastero and the Vezio Castle is highly suggested: explore lush gardens, panoramic terraces and frescoed rooms, all with a stunning lake view.

THE MOUNTAINS AROUND LECCO: TEAM BUILDING BETWEEN EXCURSIONS AND ADVENTURES

No doubt, the mountain is one of the highlights of the Lecco branch. The area is in fact largely characterized by mountain ranges dominated by the Resegone and the Grigne group; it is a place where mountain peaks offer extraordinary opportunities for team building.
Located a short distance from Lecco, the Piani di Bobbio are a well-known winter destination not only for skiers but for many sports lovers. In summer, cable cars and chairlifts still take you to mountains and the large valley offers a wide range of sporting activities. There are therefore various possibilities for trekking, excursions and climbing.

A STEP INTO LECCO'S INDUSTRIAL PAST

Lecco was an important industrial hub for the manufacture of iron thanks to the presence of iron ore deposits and the proximity of the Gerenzone torrent, from which machines got the driving power to operate.

The old OTO Metallurgica Rusconi is one of the historic metal factories born at the end of the 19th century.

Starting from the history and tradition of this place, the new Oto Lab project includes a renovated space converted to host events, elegant and impressive setups, suitable for a very large number of guests.

LAKE COMO YOU DON'T EXPECT

When we think of "Lake Como", it brings to mind the picturesque city of Como and its fascinating lake branch. However, it is good to remember that this lake has a double branch, one of which belongs to the suggestive province of Lecco.

Alessandro Manzoni's famous incipit, "That branch of the lake of Como...", refers to the branch that goes from the city of Lecco at the southern end to enchanting places such as Varenna and Pescallo.
