Introducing our new Instagram series where we share our stories through the experiences of our couples. One of the joys of this job is uncovering hidden gems in places we thought we knew, only to be pleasantly surprised time and again—stories we can’t wait to tell our clients!

How did we find ourselves in Scicli? This late Baroque town nestled in the Val di Noto, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, became our destination thanks to Domenic and Alissa. This Canadian couple contacted us in January 2023, dreaming of an intimate Sicilian wedding to honor their distant roots. Their only request: a seaside setting where they could be together with loved ones.

After extensive research, we discovered VILLA LA MEMORIA DELL’ACQUA in Donnalucata along the Scicli coastline. What followed was not just a delightful find in this meticulously curated villa with almost private beach access, but also a warm welcome from the owners. They not only opened their doors to us but also took us on a personal tour of their city, captivating us with its history and charm.

Thank you for the memories and we can’t wait for the next adventure!

From the fun bridal getting ready moments with the bride’s friends who helped her enjoy the atmosphere, forgetting any nerves and focusing on genuine excitement, to an emotional ceremony officiated by a dear friend who moved us all, including himself. And let’s not forget the mix of lively Italian tunes and live Lebanese music.

Our agency can easily handle the various logistics required on Lake Como. Remember, there are two sides of the lake, so whether your guests are staying on the opposite side to the venue, we’ll organize the right transportation accordingly, which can even include a boat ride to combine transportation with a lake tour.
