We are incredibly proud to announce the 4th judge of the Soul on Pole 2025 judges panel: the amazing Péter Holoda!

A pole dancer, actor and athlete known for his elegant and fluid style. Starting his dance career at 14, he trained at a top performing arts schools in Hungary. In the midst of a successful dance career, he transitioned to pole dance gaining global recognition. His performances, celebrated for their artistry, have captivated audiences worldwide making him a celebrated leader in our community.

The beauty of hosting an open and free artistic competition is that we see children supporting their parents and parents supporting their children directly on stage, as each other’s props. Can there be a more beautiful daughter-mother collab project, than the one in the end you perform together on a stage?

Doubles and groups are notoriously under represented in Soul on Pole. Jessica Rachele and Valentina Gironi performed a contemporary piece about women. Delicate as a flower and strong like machines!

Soul on Pole 2025 redefines the way doubles and groups (3 to 9 artists) compete, uniting them in "mixed pole & aerial arts". You have 3 poles and 3 aerial attachments available on stage to create and structure your performance. Choose between art (use of props), contemporary (no props allowed) or storytelling (tell a compelling story with a beginning, a climax and a conclusion). There are no age or gender categories, only technical levels: amateur, professional and elite.

Straight from Madrid, Spain! 🇪🇸 An explosion of power, dynamic movement and creativity combined with an outgoing personality are what make Juan one the most followed European male pole artists. His love for artistic freedom, personal expression and the constant search for pushing the boundaries of what is doable and can be performed on a pole make of him a well suited judge for Soul on Pole.

Her all-rounder abilities and worldwide performing arts experience ranging from Asia to the USA make her an excellent judge for a creative freedom oriented competition such as Soul on Pole. She is specialized in aerial arts, which gives a nice balance to our jury. Her affable character and collaborative nature blends in harmoniously with her colleagues and our organization.

Creative, pure hearted, straightforward and kindheartely feral - the one and only ! Being of the most experienced and reliable Italian pole and aerial arts judges (nationally and internationally), Cristiana is the pillar of our panel. She makes sure the judgement of Soul on Pole judges is as consistent as possible in an all-artistic-as-little-rules-as-possible-competition as ours. Edition after edition, even while we try to make her life harder by mixing up the panel with the most creative of pole and aerial arts judges, she keeps everything in check and under control.

Community.

In Soul on Pole “community” has a meaning. We don’t see ourselves as a mere group of shared interests or identity. With every edition we try to encourage the creation of social bonds, mutual support and the development of a collective identity. We are (pole & aerial) performing artists! There are only three places on the podium for each category and it may be that the best may even win a 300€ price money, but there are no loosers in Soul on Pole. The aim is not to be the best at all cost, but to bring your best self to our stage. We want to see, hear and feel your performance, whether it is art, contemporary or it tells a story, maybe your story.

This is how we tick, this is why we limit participants to 200 and this also how we as - the organizer of this event - work on a day to day basis.

Mental health is a growing concern in most societies of the developed world. On the Soul on Pole 2024 stage we saw a number of performances addressing this topic in the art and also in the storytelling theme category. Simona Sciara’s performance was equally disturbing and fascinating to watch as she dealt deeply into a character with a twisted mind and movement.

The next Soul on Pole will be on the 28, 29 and 30 of March 2025. Apply now to save on application fees. We accept only 200 performances and at this we are about to be 50% booked very soon. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
