This is a wedding editorial made in Spain. What are wedding editorials or wedding workshops? 🎩👰 These are creative projects where photographers, planners, and vendors collaborate to create stunning images and showcase their talents. But here’s the thing: they’re not actual weddings even many of my colleagues, wedding planners and muah use the word “wedding” to describe their projects! 💍❌
A wedding editorial is a styled photoshoot meant to inspire couples with ideas for their big day. It’s a chance for vendors to showcase their skills and creativity. Similarly, wedding workshops are educational events where professionals share their expertise and techniques.
So why can’t we call them weddings? 🤔 Well, for starters, there’s no real bride and groom exchanging vows. These projects focus on aesthetics and creativity rather than the emotional significance of a real wedding. Plus, they’re not legally binding ceremonies.
That’s why I’ll never refer to these projects as weddings. They’re beautiful collaborations and learning experiences, but they’re not the real wedding. Let’s reserve the term “wedding” for real events!
