I’ve always found it hard to take pictures of myself. It’s something I struggle with, and because of that, I made a decision I regret deeply—there were no photographers or videographers at my wedding. I thought I could hold onto the memories without the need for pictures or videos. But every single day, I wish I had those moments captured forever.

I completely understand couples who don’t like taking pictures or feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. Trust me, I get it. But looking back, I realize that not capturing those memories was a mistake. So, here are a few tips to help you overcome this feeling and make the most of your wedding day.

📸Find a photographer who makes you feel comfortable. Look for someone whose style resonates with you and who is good at making you relax in front of the camera. Meet with them before the wedding and share your concerns—they’ll know how to help you feel at ease.

🔍Focus on candid moments. You don’t have to pose for every picture. A good photographer will capture the natural, real moments—laughs, glances, and emotions—without you even realizing the camera is there.

💍Do a pre-wedding photoshoot. This can help you get used to being photographed and build trust with your photographer. By the time the big day comes, you’ll feel much more relaxed.

Please, take it from me: DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Memories are everything. Your wedding day will pass in the blink of an eye, but with photos and videos, you can hold onto those moments forever.

⚠️OBSTACLES and LOVE❤️

Dagnija & Marci, enchanted by Puglia's allure without ever setting foot there, embarked on a journey from Latvia to Italy for their dream wedding in Locorotondo. Initially planning a civil ceremony, I requested the necessary documents, including those of two witnesses as required by Italian law.

Unfortunately, a bureaucratic hurdle arose. Due to a limitation in the agreement between Latvia and the European Union, Dagnija & Marci were unable to legally marry in Italy without establishing residency. The Latvian Embassy in Rome confirmed this disappointing news.

In this instance, bureaucracy seemed like an adversary, but our unwavering belief in love led us to a clear path forward.

Determined to celebrate their love in the enchanting setting of Puglia, we transformed their planned civil wedding into a symbolic ceremony. Surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of an olive grove, Dagnija & Marci exchanged vows, creating a truly memorable moment.

The talented photographer, .apine , who I've had the pleasure of working with, captured the essence of their special day. Her stunning images immortalized their joy and love, leaving them with a radiant smile and a lifetime of cherished memories.
