We’ve always had a thing for French brasseries

and we love the challenge of mixing a venue’s spaces and furniture with antique objects and other contemporary finds

Casa Villa had these wonderful green iron chairs in the front garden and in designing the mise en place we realized they’d go perfectly inside to break up the sort of stately quality of the 18th century interiors and bring a fresh feel to the room

Together they created this casual elegant mix that brought the outside garden atmosphere in

Making the most of a space and mise en place can be as simple as rethinking the use of the decor that’s already in it - sometimes a little inspiration and a fresh perspective is all you need to bring your dream vision to life!

We’re so happy to share some of the magical moments of Dita and Victor’s gorgeous wedding (Part 1!) in Cortona ♥️ beautifully captured by

Dita and Victor wanted to create a joyful and fun atmosphere for their close relatives to unite for the first time. Their wedding day was organized in three parts, starting with a bus ride through the Tuscan hills for their ceremony in Cortona, and since the Bride did not want anyone to wait to eat cake, the guests walked over to the neighboring Caffè del Teatro for millefoglie cake and Prosecco before heading to the Val d’Orcia for an outdoor reception

For the ceremony, we brought on a touch of bright color to the town hall’s 13th century frescoed interiors thanks to the seasonal blooms and confetti petals by and sifted through Italian cinema to find this cheerful song by Luis Bacalov from Il Postino played by for the Bride’s entrance

Stunning at Casa Villa photographed by and dressed in vintage attire ♥️♥️

Olga’s attire was a mix of precision and spontaneity. Gaia at Récolte Vintage sourced a near replica of the 1930s inspired dress we had envisioned from France together with an oversized jacket from Italy, and on the day-of she brought along a series of vintage shoes and accessories that pulled the whole look together. The last minute addition of orange Prada shoes was everything.
