Our research leads to a catalogue about an half composed by debut-releases of the respective artists, the majority of them available through Creative Commons (CC) licences. The label has been international

ly recognized thanks to several nominations at the QWARTZ ‘Electronic and New Music Awards’. Our ‘electronic experience’ comprehends events organization (also running 😉 ) and booking support for a selection of our artists, always with the aim of promoting and helping them to emerge.

[INTERVIEW] Eduardo Miranda discloses details about QUBISM in his latest interview with IBM!

"…the computer music professor engages in a call-and-response improvisation with the IBM Quantum Eagle, a 127-qubit quantum processor at IBM’s research headquarters in New York: a violin plays a solo, then the computer listens and responds with a synthesized riff of its own.”

[NEW MUSIC] QUBISM – Eduardo Reck Miranda is forthcoming on 51Beats!!

OUT on 25 October 2024

The distinctive music of Eduardo Reck Miranda is informed by his unique background as a classically trained composer and Artificial Intelligence (AI) scientist with an early involvement in electroacoustic and avant-garde pop music.
He composed for renowned ensembles such as the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. His opera, "Lampedusa", was premiered by BBC Singers in 2019.
Eduardo has also been developing AI for music since the early 1990s. He is a pioneer in the use of quantum computers for musical composition. He leads the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR) at the University of Plymouth and is associated with Moth, an applied quantum technology company for the arts. In addition to concert music, he has composed for theatre and contemporary dance. The inside story of his acclaimed choral symphony, "Sound to Sea", is revealed in the book "Thinking Music: The Inner Workings of a Composer’s Mind", published by the University of Plymouth Press. His latest book, "Quantum Computer Music", was published in 2022 by Springer.

“Outside” invites you to look outside, far away, focusing on the beauty of nature. It is an odyssey of sounds, rhythms, wind instruments, piano solos, all in a perennial crescendo; a journey to distant lands, perhaps imaginary, delicately outlined with pastel colours.

The synthesis of the modular, skilfully spread on the canvas in the form of arpeggios and circular sequences, creates a perfect substrate for the brushstrokes of piano and alto sax, with which _Imnot__here completes the soundscape and transports the listener between the sinuous lines of a world in perfect harmony. The _Imnot__here project fits with originality into the neokosmische trend of Emeralds, John Also Bennet, Jonathan Fitoussi and Plasman, among others.

Former member of the MHO project (Macerata) and of the group Full Vacuum (Ancona) as a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist, keyboardist for a short period with the group Universound (with which he won the Il Mangiadischi competition), he arrives in the world of electronics through Jungle and Drum'n'Bass, first as a keyboard player in the group DrainBrain and then as a DJ with the duo MainVoid.
About a year ago he began exploring the world of modular synthesizers, with the intention of combining sound design with improvisation with piano and saxophone.
