In ancient Egypt and Rome, it was said that wedding rings should be worn on the fourth finger of the left hand as it was believed to be the only finger with a direct vein that leads to the heart. Romans named this the “vena amoris”, the vein of love.

However studies of the Human Anatomy has progressed since then, this utterly romantic belief is still well-practiced today.

Don’t you find it it fitting that it has withstood the test of time? Almost as a testimony to newlyweds that timeless love is possible as long as they wear their wedding bonds.

Jean and Kim vowed to a lifetime of love with these elegant, custom pink gold wedding rings.

Even the tiniest detail can bring a big impact in making a wedding day personal.

Jean knew how much Kim’s grandparents meant to him. She wanted to make sure Kim marries her with this custom-made brooch neatly pinned inside his wedding suit, just right above his heart.

Of the weddings I’ve seen, this is one of the most moving surprises a bride has gifted a groom.

Jean and Kim tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones in a beautifully emotional wedding ceremony last Saturday.

We can’t wait to see them celebrate a love so selfless like theirs 💙

“There is beauty in the waiting.”

We’ve reminded ourselves and our 2020-2021 couples of this mantra far too many times in the last year. It has not been easy and it has not been fun.

As humans, we are hard-wired to uncover what is hiding and thus feel lost, weary and unsteady when the future is hidden. In the last year, we’ve all waited and found ourselves discouraged with every day that passes without any substantial change.

One too many future brides I have spoken with shared projection of their wedding day out of fear and with a dangerous dose of bitterness and hopelessness.

Beautifully frozen in time in this bridal portrait is our bride Paola. Almost a month away from her wedding day last year the pandemic hit. The world halted just when it was her turn to walk down the aisle. Disbelief, anxiety, disappointment washed all the excitement away.

However difficult, she did not dwell on the negative. She trusted in His timing and learned to find beauty in the waiting for she knew God always reveals at the right time.

Paola married the love of her life, Luigi, on October 10th, 2020.

To you, my lovely bride, know that there is grace in the waiting and that the Lord’s timing is precious and precise. Trust that He will make it happen at the right time — and that’s when it will bring YOU the MOST joy and fulfillment.

Inviamo un po’ di bellezza dal nostro matrimonio di Settembre e tanti pensieri positivi e di solidarietà ai nostri colleghi e ai loro sposi che affrontano il nuovo DPCM con caparbietà e ancora più energia di prima. Un evento non si organizza in un giorno e riorganizzarlo con pochissimo preavviso non è un’impresa semplice, ma la salute prima di tutto. Certo, sarebbe stato forse più giusto e con rispetto del lavoro di tantissimi professionisti di questa industria porre un limite al ricevimento in base alla capienza effettiva della location, ma di fronte all’emergenza la responsabilità civile non può e non deve ve**re a meno. Rimaniamo ottimisti e ci crediamo ancora più di prima:

Siamo le persone forti e in gamba che siamo oggi perché siamo state cresciute da mani ferme, ma delicate; da cuori impavidi, ma generosi; da menti brillanti e piene di risorse.

Siamo state cresciute da donne che sono sempre buone anche quando sono severe e da donne sempre disponibili anche quando sono stanche.

Qualcuno dice che sono le persone forti di oggi anche perché sono state cresciute a suon di ceffoni o da infinite ramanzine da parte di donne che hanno sempre ragione.

Si chiamano mamme.
Profumano sempre di casa.
E hanno sempre ragione.

Festeggiamo tutte le mamme, dovunque siano.
