TBT Summer 2023: We collaborated with on the set design for the Corona Sunsets Festival at the Teatro del Silenzio in Tuscany. Our work included designing the main stage, festival layout, and eco-friendly experience areas, as well as creating shaded lounges and a VIP rooftop terrace in the open-air setting.

In recent years, as set designers, we have gained experience in creating stage layouts for both conventions and concerts. Sometimes these two fields overlap, and we’re thrilled to contribute to creating exciting events for diverse audiences in various locations.

TBT winter 2023: this time last year, we were working as set designers on a special event created and produced by for YouTube. It was an exciting challenge to design numerous small sets, each with a specific theme to highlight the captivating speeches of influencers from various fields.

Per l’agenzia Live Zone abbiamo progettato l’allestimento della tappa milanese di Corona Sessions, un evento musicale incentrato sul momento del tramonto. Poiché l’evento faceva parte di un palinsesto internazionale con un format comune, abbiamo ideato elementi allestitivi che potessero corrispondere all’immagine eco-friendly ed informale della serata. Durante il pomeriggio alcuni corner hanno ospitato le attività organizzate dal cliente, mentre dopo il tramonto le luci dell’allestimento hanno tinto il prato di Citylife con colori brillanti per accompagnare il party ed il DJ set serale.

For Live Zone we designed the set-up for the milanese stop of Corona Sessions, a music event focused on sunset. Since the event was part of an international programming with a single format, we designed set-up elements that could match the eco-friendly and informal image of the evening. During the afternoon, a few booths hosted activities organized by the client, while after sunset the staging lights illuminated the Citylife park with bright colors to accompany the party and the evening DJ set.

I palchi per le convention e quelli per gli eventi musicali devono rispondere ad esigenze differenti, ma si possono entrambi avvalere di tecniche scenografiche all'avanguardia.
Lo stage design è infatti un campo caratterizzato dall'impiego di nuove tecnologie che ci offrono la possibilità di creare sfondi e ambientazioni sorprendenti per diversi tipi di eventi. Ledwall 'transparent', luci cinetiche e proiezioni sono alcune delle soluzioni che abbiamo proposto ai nostri clienti per realizzare allestimenti d'impatto.

Stages for conventions and those for music events have to meet different requirements, but they can both employ state-of-the-art staging techniques.
Stage design is indeed a domain characterised by the use of new technologies that offer us the possibility of creating amazing backdrops and settings for different types of events. 'Transparent' ledwalls, kinetic lighting and projections are some of the solutions we have suggested to our customers to create impactful set-ups.

Wine Calls Design, il temporary show di MANINTOWN, per presentare lo speciale dedicato al mondo del vino, The Art of Wine.

1 - Per questo progetto relativo agli interni di un centro estetico la renderizzazione 3D è stata fondamentale per visualizzare gli elementi ad hoc di grafica e di arredo.
Il progetto prevedeva infatti grafiche personalizzate ed elementi e finiture studiati apposta per accogliere strumentazioni tecniche.

2 - Progetto per una mostra temporanea dove già in fase di concept abbiamo potuto fornire visualizzazioni accurate del risultato finale.

3 - Concept per un evento del settore moda all'interno di location storica. Per ottenere delle visualizzazioni fotorealistiche abbiamo utilizzato un mix di modellazione 3D e fotoinserimento.

4 - Per Balich Wonder Studios e Dolce & Gabbana abbiamo progettato l’allestimento di uno showroom all’interno del Maraya Concert Hall ad AlUla in Arabia Saudita.

5 - Nelle visualizzazioni di questo concept per uno stand fieristico la nostra attenzione si è concentrata nel dare un'idea più realistica possibile dei materiali e delle finiture ipotizzati a progetto.

1 - For this interior design project for a beauty center, 3D rendering was essential to visualize the ad hoc graphic and furniture elements. The project included custom graphics and furniture pieces designed specifically to accommodate technical instrumentation.

2 - Project for a temporary exhibition where at the concept phase we were already able to provide accurate visualizations of the final result.

3 - Concept for a fashion brand event within a historic location. To achieve photorealistic visualizations we used a mix of 3D modeling and image editing. 
4 - For Balich Wonder Studios and Dolce & Gabbana we designed a showroom set-up inside the Maraya Concert Hall in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.

5 - For the views of this exhibition booth concept our attention was on modelling and editing the materials to provide a very realistic idea of the finishes that were included in the design project.

Le immagini foto-realistiche avvicinano il cliente al progetto, lo aiutano a comprendere le scelte distributive senza tralasciare le volontà comunicative e i dettagli progettuali.
TOPTAG realizza internamente visualizzazioni 3d d’impatto per qualsiasi settore e progetto. Questo metodo di lavoro ci permette di seguire il committente passo passo attraverso immagini di facile comprensione.

Nel campo degli eventi le visualizzazioni 3d sono essenziali per comunicare l’allestimento in modo immediato e d’impatto. Grazie ad esse il cliente coglierà la forza comunicativa della scenografia, l’atmosfera che si respirerà durante l’evento e le relazioni che si creeranno tra location e allestimento.

Photorealistic images close the gap between the project and the clients, helping them understand design choices without putting aside the communication aspect or the technical details.
TOPTAG creates impactful 3D visualizations internally for any kind of project in numerous fields. This methodology allows us to supply the client with easily understandable images through every stage of the design process.

When it comes to temporary event set-ups, 3d visualizations are essential to display the project in a quick and effective way. Thanks to them the client can check on the communicative strenght of the scenography, the atmosphere that will be created during the event and the relationship between the location and the set-up.

1-2 All’interno della Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo di Brescia abbiamo progettato uno speciale allestimento per accogliere il prestito de “Il Pranzo” di Diego Velázquez, proveniente dall’Ermitage.

3-4 Per il bookshop del Museo del Novecento abbiamo pensato ad un sistema di arredi trasformabili, richiudibili e spostabili all’interno dello spazio così da rispondere alle diverse necessità funzionali.

5-6 Per la mostra “The art of braking”, un viaggio esperienziale attraverso superfici riflettenti, pinze multicolori e dischi dalle geometrie intricate, abbiamo studiato nel dettaglio un sistema espositivo ad hoc in grado di mettere in luce tutte le qualità dell'universo dei freni Brembo.
Nella sezione dedicata allo "stile", ad esempio, le pinze Porsche sono fissate su dei supporti in metacrilato tramite appositi agganci realizzati su misura per la specifica pinza.

1-2 Inside the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo in Brescia we designed a special set-up to hold the loan of Diego Velázquez's "The Lunch" from the Hermitage.

3-4 For the bookshop of the Museo del Novecento we designed a system of transformable furniture, which can be closed and moved within the space to meet different functional needs.

5-6 For the exhibition "The art of braking," an experiential journey through reflective surfaces, multicolored calipers and discs with intricate geometries, we studied in detail a custom-made display system capable of highlighting all the qualities of Brembo's brake universe.
In the section dedicated to "style," for example, Porsche calipers are attached to methacrylate mounts by means of special hooks tailored to the specific caliper.

Ci occupiamo tutte e tutti di progettazione ma fra noi ci sono set designer, graphic designer e architetti: energie nuove che si bilanciano con professionalità d’esperienza. Anagraficamente copriamo circa un quarto di secolo, dai venti ai cinquanta. Fra noi c’è chi ama stare in cantiere e chi predilige il lavoro dietro lo schermo: ognuno sa mettersi in gioco in ruoli diversi quando serve.

Among us we have new energies that are well balanced by experienced professionals. Age wise we cover about a quarter of a century, from
our twenties to our fifties. Some of us love fieldwork at construction sites, others prefer working on digital representations of the project, but we are all ready to put ourselves on the line in different roles when needed!
