This time the label is coming with a wild party to launch its new compilation Italomania vol. 2, where 13 young contemporary Italian producers have created new organic disco, indie dance, avant pop and house tracks with Italian vocals.

On stage will be Kapote, Elasi, Sam Ruffillo, Fimiani!

Toy Tonics Summer Jam Milano, May 31st at Magnolia, Milano

Our favorite party where dancing and having fun are the most important things is back in Milan. The first Toy Tonics summer party in Milan is a real jam of talented artists led by Kapote and reinforced by the participation in the line up of Severino directly from Horse Meat Disco.

“Il Quadro di Troisi”, June 4 at Triennale Milano

Eva Geist’s and Donato Dozzy’s correspondence about the late actor and director Massimo Troisi quickly became an inspirational source of identification that intertwined with the project, whose sensitive and multifaceted texts fit perfectly with the musical phrases and flow like a film monologue from Troisi’s own work.

Akoma, Jlin’s latest album, was released last March 22, 2024, and contains interesting collaborations.
First pops up the one with Björk, whose voice is filtered to the point of being almost unrecognizable in the opening “Borealis,” a song articulated on a cryptographic rhythm and decorated by the flutters of a warped flute. In “Sodalite,” the plot woven by the Kronos Quartet is disassembled and recombined, imagining chamber settings from science fiction. Closing the album, however, we find Philip Glass: “The Precision of Infinity” is punctuated by his typical piano phrasing, incorporated, however, into a neurotic groove of a futuristic nature.

Jlin will be with us this April 20 on the Santeria stage, for our new chapter of IDM - Intelligent Dance Music, are you ready?
