‘Ceremony of Absence’ emerged from a prolific communion of artistic and multidisciplinary intentions, embodying one of Migarden’s core missions: to create fertile grounds for the exchange of knowledge, which, in turn, catalyzes discovery and creation.
During the latest edition of , the collaboration between .interferenza and gave rise to a unique performance centered around the ritual of dressing and un******ng. This seemingly ordinary act was reimagined as a mysterious ceremony, where these simple gestures evolved into poses imbued with solemnity and ritualistic significance.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to .forme for bringing this vision to life—choreographing the movements and embodying enigmatic, dreamlike figures that symbolized the excess and waste generated by the fast fashion industry, slowly transformed into light and regenerated otherworldly figures, through the act of dressing and un******ng. Special thanks to .xyz for designing and producing masks and prosthesis that elevated the scene into a truly sacred and almost extraterrestrial realm. A sincere appreciation to .it for generously providing the garments, which served as the material foundation for this ritualistic exploration. And finally, our deepest gratitude to and for embracing the scene with their live act, an ethereal soundscape full of noisy and glitchy effects, tailored specifically for this event.
