The wedding is also the time shared with your friends and family. This lovely company of bride and bridesmaids, before they walked down the aisle shaded by pine trees to arrive at the wedding ceremony in front of the Mediterranean, had spent a wonderful time while getting ready: sharing their memories, stories, sipping sparkling wine, singing to their favourite songs, laughing and crying.
We were there and we are happy they shared that precious time with us, too.

The wedding cake used to be considered one of the essential elements of the wedding reception. When visiting the venue with the future spouses, one of the points on our checklist was the selection of the exact location of the table with the cake to be cut. In the last few years we have noticed a new trend - no wedding cake or this part of reception replaced with other options, like serving the traditional Sardinian or Italian desserts, ice-cream and such.

Last October A&A had their civil wedding ceremony in the beautiful public gardens in Cagliari. That’s exactly what Brad and Brittany did on their special day, when they chose one of the most exclusive clubs of Costa Smeralda as their wedding venue.

Costa Smeralda, or the Emerald Coast, is a glamorous destination on the east coast of Sardinia, famous for its white sandy beaches, crystal clear sea, and jet-set lifestyle. It’s the perfect place for couples who want to celebrate their love in style and luxury.

Brad and Brittany had a private ceremony at Phi beach in Baja Sardinia, a chic and elegant club that offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the islands. Their symbolic wedding was held in August, when the weather was warm and sunny, and the sea was calm and inviting.

Can you get married in Sardinia in November? Yes, you can! This couple took the risk, as you can never predict the weather, but you can indeed find empty beaches and mild temperatures. D&N got married in the south of the island and their wedding was a civil, legally binding ceremony at the beach. Civil ceremonies outside that town halls are now possible in many locations around Sardinia, including beaches, old medieval watchtowers along the coast, panoramic sites with a sea view, megalithic, ancient monuments or beautiful mansions with gardens. There are times to be respected and documents to be collected, but don't worry - we will guide and assist you in getting legally married in Italy.

Who isn't crazy about Italian gelato? Many of our couples ask for genuine homemade Italian ice-cream to be served during the aperitif or after the wedding dinner. We collaborate with a few local gelato makers who prepare their ice-cream made of local, high-quality ingredients. They always have the vegan or no-lactose option.
In the picture an artisan is preparing a special kind of gelato at the H&J wedding: la carapigna, a type of sorbet based on just two ingredients: lemon and water. Its origins date back to times when the ice was transported from the Sardinian mountains and the technique used is centuries old. The effect - a refreshing explosion of fragrant Sardinian lemons on your taste buds.

Speech and raising a toast is the characteristic element of the Anglo-Saxon wedding tradition. Dating back to medieval England, it was traditionally reserved for the bride's father, the groom, the best man. Nowadays it's also common for the women to take their turn - the maid of honor, the mothers, the bride.
At J&S's wedding last June the speeches lasted well into the summer night, interrupted by bursts of laughter... and tears. Toasts were raised with the best Sardinian wine, and this time it wasn't necessary to put a burned bread in the pitcher to temper the 🍷 (as some sources explain the origins of the expression).

After exchanging vows at the town hall, legally binding their love, they had a symbolic ceremony at the beach, celebrating their love in front of friends and family. J & S celebrated their wedding reception in a stunning seafront venue, surrounded by maritime pine trees. The outdoor dinner tables were elegantly adorned with soft fabrics and fresh flowers, featuring cream and cappuccino roses. The warm brown and silvery green hues complemented the creamy tones of the runner and the linen napkins. The tables were named after places that were meaningful for J & S's romance. The crystal glasses and the silverware added a touch of sophistication to this simple yet beautiful setting. The bride had a creative idea for the seating arrangement - each guest's name was written on a piece of sea glass, evoking the Sardinian seaside location. And when the night came and it was time to enjoy the feast - the strings of lights above the tables illuminated the summer night.
