🐈 Once upon a time there was a little kitten named Bosco, who a mysterious fate brought to the heart of an enchanting village. It was a festive evening, a wedding evening full of laughter and dancing, but Bosco, a simple stray, had taken refuge in a corner of the office. Small and scared, he cried softly, unaware of the festive world that surrounded him.

When we found him, our hearts broke for him. We decided to give him something to eat and, with great patience, we showed him that there was nothing to fear. After a while, Bosco approached, shy but curious. “The next morning, to my great surprise, I found him on my desk” says Eglantina, “who with his bright little eyes asked only for cuddles.”

From that moment on, he was no longer just a kitten: he became our faithful companion and, in the blink of an eye, the boss of the village.

Bosco’s presence brought an unexpected magic to our little corner of the world. The guests of the village loved him fervently and often created small and affectionate rivalries to get his cuddles. The brides, tireless in preparations and traditions, did not delay in confirming their marriage by reading Bosco’s story, as if it were a sign of good luck, a small lucky charm that brought happiness and love. 🥰 ❤️🔮💍

Every time a new couple showed up in the village, Bosco was there, ready to welcome them with his melodious purr and his unmistakable look. We often wondered where he came from. “He came from the woods,” we joked, giving him the name of Bosco, a name that seemed to fit him like a glove.

Since then, Bosco has conquered everyone’s hearts, becoming not only a mascot, but a symbol of welcome and love. No wedding was complete without his blessing. And so, with each ceremony celebrated, our little boss continued to write his story, a story of affection and union that, like his striped coat, was rich in nuances and warmth.

At Borgo Laticastelli, tradition meets taste. 👩🏻‍🍳 Chef Silvia loves to be called ‘La Massaia’, the teachings of her grandmother Carola, her mother Mirella and her aunt Egle, all strong women from families of charcoal burners and woodcutters from Casentino, help her create dishes from times gone by.

A simple cuisine with ancient flavors like the one her grandmother prepared for everyone, is offered at the “La Taverna” restaurant in Borgo Laticastelli.

This is the vision Silvia has in her head during the creation and preparation of dinner. The close collaboration with small local producers makes each of her dishes unique. 🍲
