Indian weddings are becoming very popular in Italy and happens that I did my very first one last summer. One of the most amazing experiences of my life, but also a lot of work and so many new things to learn. I have asked myself several times if I am ready to work with this type of clientele. The wedding lasts at least 3 days, one or two ceremonies are held every day, until the actual wedding day. Every ceremony has a meaning and of course, a cultural mediator helps a lot. However, spouses are the same in every culture. They have dreams, expectations, and it is our job to make sure that this happens in the best possible way. It is certainly a bigger commitment than a traditional Western wedding, but with a good support team, anything can be done.

Are we talking about wedding cake?
Those who follow me know that I have been organizing weddings for many years, and over these years I have seen the evolution of the wedding cake. From simple sponge cakes covered in icing mounted on a 2 or 3-tier pyramid to cakes with illuminated bases; from castle-shaped cakes to 5-tier cakes and finally, naked cakes, as if the cake itself had said: "enough is enough" 😎
But the wedding cake is one of the most awaited moments of the wedding party, and must exactly reflect the wishes of the spouses. So, don't follow fashion, follow your desires, and if there is a wonderful view as a backdrop, so much the better.
