CHILDREN OF THE AFTER (eng title) debuted three years ago at the Social Film Festival "Tulipani di seta nera" promoted by RAI Cinema Channel, it will soon return for at various Italian and international - It's a short film made in the year following the outbreak of the Covid emergency, when we were slowly trying to go back to what is called "normalcy". Alienation and isolation, like the loss of freedom, were widespread facts long before we were all in lockdown mode; they certainly did not stop after the pandemic did. This story is an invitation to widen your gaze, to see the other, to take advantage of the moment while you can, to be grateful for what you can do without taking anything for granted. 🪁🌈🍀

"Children of an after" (Figli di un dopo ITA) is a short film about the sense of alienation and self-isolation caused by the unhealthy use of technology, also mentioning the real physical isolation during the lockdown. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the main challenge was to shoot all the scenes with the actors in a single day of shooting, for both the outdoor and indoor scenes; besides we had to do some "magic" in postproduction to emphasize the isolation around the protagonist in the outdoor scenes, since in reality there was an almost normal environment with several passers-by around us. The short film was in competition at the international festival of social cinematography Tulipani di Seta Nera 2022, you can now watch it in streaming on RAI Cinema web platform.

Shorts of a 3-month production, 10 episodes, 100 digital scenographies (two steps for each graphic theme of the performances), more than 800 video exports on 22 LED screens. The “Iraq Idol” TV show was a real challenge on all fronts: a modern and unconventional stage design; very short timing for pre-production and technical previsualization; tight deadlines for one live a week, half of the team to be coordinated remotely, content optimization for several 3D renders in most part of the graphics of all episodes. It was hard work, we did it all... and we di it pretty well! 😎

In February we conceived and produced a video event for the AirFrance-KLM virtual kick off meeting 2022, using a flowing hybrid format and mixing the "breaking news" features with those of a "talk show". Last summer we directed and produced a short movie entrusted to us by a foundation that takes care of young people and their opportunities. In recent years it makes us strange to talk about opportunities, indeed it seems almost absurd; with all the things happening, like in a video game in which you kill a monster and the next one is always more evil and complicated than the previous one.
