La Dogana - Wedding Venue

La Dogana is an historical estate with 32 hectares of garden and 4.000 ancient olive trees that shape its borders and produce organic olive oil every year. Being one of the Italian custom houses, the venue is located at the border between Tuscany and Umbria overlooking the Trasimeno lake and its islands.

The estate can accommodate up to 70 guests (including living-room staying option) in a total of 19 apartments divided between: the Lake House, the Farm House, the Coach house (bride and groom suite) and the Woodcutter’s House.

Every apartment includes by a living-room, kitchenette, bathroom and one or two bedrooms all meticulously decorated with antique forniture and a country chic touch.

The estate offers a choice of different outdoor options for both symbolic ceremonies and wedding receptions with two additional areas (depending on the size of the wedding) available in case of rain. The garden has the typical Umbrian green all over the property and a designed Tuscan Italian garden on top of the hill next to the swimming pool. The lake is visible almost in all areas of the estate and can be seen from most apartments.
