Nei nostri Valdobbiadene DOCG tendiamo sempre ad aggiungere il minimo di residuo zuccherino, in modo tale che possiate davvero apprezzare le vere caratteristiche dell’uva. Secondo la denominazione si definisce Extra Brut uno spumante da 0 a 6 g/l di residuo zuccherino, Brut da 0 a 12 g/l, Extra Dry da 12 a 17 g/l, e Dry da 17 a 32 g/l.

In our Valdobbiadene DOCG we always tend to add the minimum amount of residual sugar, so that you can really appreciate the true characteristics of the grape. Hier beginnt jeden Tag der Zauber: zwischen den Rebreihen und dem Duft der Erde. Die Arbeit im Weinberg ist für uns ein Privileg.
Tradizionalmente lo sfalcio dell’erba viene eseguito su tutta la superficie del vigneto. È possibile in alternativa sfalciare l’erba nella fascia di vigneto attiguo alle viti, mentre sulle scarpate, più lontano dai filari, la si può lasciare intatta più a lungo senza tagliarla. In questo modo, il prato non sfalciato può fiorire e spargere le proprie sementi sul terreno, rinnovandosi naturalmente. L’erba alta inoltre offre un habitat ideale per la vita di molti animali, primi fra tutti api e altri pronubi, che grazie alla fioritura delle essenze spontanee, trovano riparo e disponibilità del polline di cui si nutrono.

Traditionally, grass mowing is carried out over the entire surface of the vineyard. Alternatively, it is possible to mow the grass in the vineyard strip adjacent to the vines, while on the slopes, further from the rows, it can be left intact for longer without cutting it. In this way, the unmown lawn can flower and spread its seeds on the ground, renewing itself naturally. The tall grass also offers an ideal habitat for the life of many animals, first of all bees and other pollinators, which, thanks to the flowering of spontaneous essences, find shelter and the availability of the pollen they feed on.

Traditionell wird das Gras auf der gesamten Fläche des Weinbergs gemäht. Alternativ ist es möglich, das Gras in den Weinbergreihen neben den Reben zu mähen, während es in den Hängen, die weiter von den Reihen entfernt sind, länger unangetastet bleiben kann, ohne es zu schneiden. Auf diese Weise kann das ungemähte Gras gedeihen und seine Samen auf dem Boden verbreiten und sich somit auf natürliche Weise erneuern. Das hohe Gras ist auch ein idealer Lebensraum für viele Tiere, vor allem für Bienen und andere Bestäuber, die dank der blühenden Wildpflanzen Unterschlupf und Pollen finden, von denen sie sich ernähren können.

La vite è una coltura che non ha molti insetti nemici, tuttavia ve ne sono alcuni che sono molto pericolosi: uno è lo Scaphoideus titanus. Questa cicalina, pur vivendo a scapito della linfa della vite, in realtà provoca danni diretti, è dannosa infatti perché trasmette da una pianta all’altra una malattia molto grave che si chiama #Flavescenzadorata. Per combattere questo insetto è necessario monitorarne la presenza in vigneto, cosa che viene fatta in modi diversi a seconda del momento. L' operazione che vedete in foto è in grado di dare un’indicazione immediata circa la presenza dell’insetto e si chiama “frappage”. La tecnica è molto semplice e consiste nel posizionare un telo bianco (noi usiamo un ombrello) sotto la chioma della vite che viene scossa energicamente a mano; gli insetti che sono tra le foglie cadono nel telo sottostante dove possono essere facilmente osservati ed eliminati. —- The vine is a plant that does not have many enemy insects, however there are some that are very dangerous: one is the Scaphoideus titanus.
