𝘉𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵. As many of you already know Villa Cipressi is a complex of 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 that date back to the 𝗫𝗩 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘆.

Originally built in 1480 by the noble 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 it has had different notable owners over the years as well as important architectural additions that made it the historic treasure it is today.

Traces from its glorious past can be seen inside and around our property, especially in the “𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗶 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺” where the oldest evidences are present. There you will notice frescoes of coat of arms belonging to old noble Lake Como families who were friends or related to the Serponti’s.

Also a fascinating portrait of the 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 with 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 is still visibile today just outside the unit.

Other evidences are also present in the main fountain courtyard where traces of an old fresco have been recently restored thanks to municipal and regional public funds.

More recent artistic addictions are inside the “Volatili, Stucchi and Pergolato Rooms” which enclose stuccoes and more recent decorative frescoes and paintings.

A stay at Villa Cipressi is not only a dive into the magnificent nature of Lake Como but also a full immersion in 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

And so we reached the end of another incredible season! 🥂

Villa Cipressi, as well as its sister Hotel Royal Victoria, would love to thank all our beloved guests who came to visit us over the past six months. It was a joy to welcome you and share with you this beautiful corner of Italy!

A special thank you also to all the couples who chose our Villa to crown and celebrate their love. Each of these weddings remain in our memories and are part of our story too.

Finally a big thank you to our R Collection Hotels team and to every professional who collaborated with us on creating those unforgettable events and experiences. 🧡

We love when our couples go big on their celebrations! Like Darja and Nik who not only had a pre-wedding and a wedding day at our Villa but they also requested a special live band, art performers and a spectacular cake which was one of largest we’ve ever seen coming in here! 🫶🏻

Congratulations to them and to all the professionals who once again made an unforgettable event happening here on Lake Como! We didn’t want it to ever end! 🤍🕊️

Un evento speciale voluto e organizzato da R Collection Hotels per celebrare la 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗱’𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 che, quasi due secoli fa, scelse il nostro adiacente Hotel Royal Victoria, per una vacanza memorabile che la fece innamorare del Lago di Como!
