๐๐ฆ ๐ง๐ข๐ด๐ค๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฃ๐บ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ข๐ด๐ต. As many of you already know Villa Cipressi is a complex of ๐ต๐ถ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฏ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ that date back to the ๐ซ๐ฉ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐.
Originally built in 1480 by the noble ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ it has had different notable owners over the years as well as important architectural additions that made it the historic treasure it is today.
Traces from its glorious past can be seen inside and around our property, especially in the โ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐บ๐ถ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ผ๐บโ where the oldest evidences are present. There you will notice frescoes of coat of arms belonging to old noble Lake Como families who were friends or related to the Serpontiโs.
Also a fascinating portrait of the ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ป ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ with ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ is still visibile today just outside the unit.
Other evidences are also present in the main fountain courtyard where traces of an old fresco have been recently restored thanks to municipal and regional public funds.
More recent artistic addictions are inside the โVolatili, Stucchi and Pergolato Roomsโ which enclose stuccoes and more recent decorative frescoes and paintings.
