Novella in Venice, Italy.

Novella is a quintessential bohemian Venetian—a singer, dancer, writer, artist, and gallery owner with an incredibly youthful spirit. This photo captures her essence well: always in motion, pursuing new creative ideas!

She boasts a remarkable family heritage as a descendant of the Carraresi family, the former lords of Padua, where she established a dance school and literary salon in 1989.

Her beautiful home in Venice, which I was fortunate to visit, resembles a jewel box brimming with art and light—an absolute delight for someone like me!

Interestingly, as we selected outfits for the photoshoot, I found myself unconsciously choosing three colors: red, white, and green. Can you guess the colors of the Italian flag?

The purpose of this session was to portray Novella in the magical environment of the city she has called home for the past 20 years. As we searched for the perfect location, we energetically marched through narrow alleyways and crossed countless bridges, with her leading the way a few meters ahead, while I struggled to keep up. “Novella, are you a good leader?” I shouted. She laughed and twirled gracefully in response.

She glided through the streets like an ethereal Venetian swan, and that is the moment I captured.
